After Daniel Stonerook's (DJThaBoss10's) mother passed away due to complications from Covid-19 at 44 years old, The rapper immediately set out to honor her legacy. During the month of June when she was diagnosed with Covid-19, DJThaBoss10 unfortunately had an accurate correct prediction when he said to her before being transported via ambulance to another hospital.

“You're in God's hands now." 

Ever since that prediction that he had when he said it to his mother as doctors were testing her, he instantly had a lot of regrets. Before he wrote the track, he reminisced the memories they both shared. The major last memory according to DJThaBoss10, is they spent the day in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania together. And that DJThaBoss10 even purchased a rose plant for her on his 20th birthday the day prior to say thanks for all she's done. What he didn't know at the time that he shared in the voicemail part of the song, is that rose plant, ended up being the last present he ever purchased for her. He spent 2-3 weeks writing Mommas' Song, and looking for a producer to work with for this special masterpiece. Mommas' Song explores an emotional side to the rapper that no fan of his or any family member of his has ever discovered before, discovering a brutal side of emotion that became Mommas' Song. His motto was for every emotional song he wrote.

"If I cry, you'll cry." 

But this track proved a contradiction to that statement according to the rapper as he said that he never cried during the songwriting or the recording process, but has heard that fans have cried, teared up, and even said that the song has changed their life or attempting with the song, change the relationship status of their closed one or loved one after hearing the song. After his father introduced him the song from the 1971 album Led Zeppelin IV, Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin, he immediately had more powerful envisions for this song. Adding more melodies and ending the song with a powerful voicemail to his late mother that most listeners have praised and called the most emotional feature of the track. The voicemail is titled.

”Phone call to a fallen soldier turned angel." 

The plot of Mommas' Song according to the rapper, was this. "A fallen soldier that cared for her family, and wanted to inspire others while fighting a hefty battle against life. When she had fallen, the next of kin carried her eulogy. Then wrote a song to carry her message: “To gather in peace with the person you really look up to, and let them know how much they inspire you." DJThaBoss10 teamed up with pop punk artist SRY and vocal producer Camdxn to make this song. He knew he put the emotional track into the right hands following the recruitment. Lee Fenstamaker (SRY) said to the rapper via text message prior to writing the ending chorus and voicemail.

"Dude this is a beautiful f*****g song man, if you ever want any help recording it, let me know." 

He immediately recruited him as a producer giving the experience he had with pop punk and emotional music. After spending 7 hours at Kashmir Studios to record this song, Lee sent the song back to him while praising the quality of the song to him via FaceTime.

"I even cried while producing this track." 

He said to the rapper. DJThaBoss10 sent the track to his entire family 3 weeks prior to the release, and according to the rapper, they all cried. Then release day came Friday September 3rd, 2021, his late mother's 45th birthday. DJThaBoss10 also stated via Instagram livestream that it dominated i lost hope and F4L-FN1 in terms of premier publicity and quality. Mommas' Song is described as an.

"Emotional Powerhouse.” 

It’s also been described as a Boss10 Essential, and the most emotional track DJThaBoss10 wrote in his career.
