The words in this song are from a Shipibo icaro written by don Enrique Lopez Fasanando.  These words are typically sung at the beginning of an Ayahuasca ceremony calling in strong protection for the healing work that is to follow. There are a few added verses that I've incorporated into the mix- calling the light of Noya Rao (Noya Rao joekan) and the connections/energy and worlds of light in general, into the experience- and hopefully sending that positive energy the listener's way.

(Track List Below) This live set from Center Camp was inspired by the joy and adventure I experienced out on the playa that night. Pulling from the last 10 years of my releases I went back to my roots in that shanti world heart vibe, so much music that I never get to play at big parties and clubs. Played to a huge and empty tent it was one of the highlights of my time in the desert, just for me. Sparkled in are some favorite tracks by other producers. In the moment I felt so much gratitude for all the collaborators, singers and instrumentalists who have worked on these songs with me on this journey. Still that heartfelt thanks is just as present. May you enjoy the journey and feel the intention. Yip yip!

About the mix: This one’s special. What you’re hearing is a composite of two sets I played: a high-energy Saturday night closing set and a melodic, uplifting Sunday morning opening set. It made perfect sense to glue them together (thank you Ableton!) into one seamless arc — from deep embodiment to cosmic lift-off. 🛸👠✨🎶
I recorded it live at the Something Queer campout near Yosemite — an intimate, high-vibration gathering of queer freaks, lovers, and dancefloor warriors. The mix moves across the house–techno–diva spectrum in one cohesive journey.
It was also formative for me — I had a moment of artistic clarity playing these sets. I really started to feel the energy that artists like Alinka, The Carry Nation, and Shaun J. Wright bring — that collision of Berghain weight and Studio 54 glamour. I'm not saying this defines me fully, but playing in that frequency felt like HOME. Not a pigeonhole — just another room in my house.

I like to imagine sometimes where the music will travel to. Who it will be given to or shared with. Whether it will be played at an after party in London or listened to on a set of headphones while watching the sun rise from behind a mountain in Tibet. I wonder which tracks you'll fall in love with instantly and which will grow on you as time passes. 

I know this is a really long mix and the journey into it and out the other side takes some commitment but, on the plus side, it saves you having to look for anything else to play for ages and ages.

 I hope you love the tracks as much as I do and thanks for listening.
