The Freaky Friday Jailhouse Gang are a Funk/Blues/Rock/Soul Group from Graz in Austria. 
Formed in the early 2010s they consist of singer Lorena Valta, guitarist Markus Steinrück, bassist Tobias Steinrück and drummer Fabian Steinrück. (No, the last Names are no coincidence, those guys are brothers.)
After long years of playing covers by all the greats (The Beatles, Sting, Stevie Wonder and many, many more) they decided to give their own Songwriting abilities a try and released their first Album "Don't Panic This Is Serious" in 2021, followed by the concept Album "The Rise Of The Animal Kingdom" in 2022.

Moped Loewen is a 5 piece band led by Daniel Varga, jazz saxophonist and composer. They are one of the most uniqe and interesting embassadors of the post-genre world. Their sound mainly reminds us of experimental indierock, but it is spiced up with super intense improvised solos, chromatic brain storms, which are put in a melancholic, almost pop - vocal driven melodic frame. If you love indierock, prog rock, noizz and modern jazz at the same time, then this is you band from the present.

Moped Loewen is an experimental rock band, which was called to life by Daniel Varga. It all started in 2016 in Graz, where he was studying jazz saxophone and composing at the prestigious University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (KUG).

He recorded the 1st album of the band in the summer together with his friends and classmates, which turned out to be some kind of „frankeinstein” of music.
Different aesthetic idioms from different genres are sewed together and brought to life by jazz influence and the driving spirit of "we will play the music what we like".
Since then Daniel started a journey, where he tries to define his sound. Almost 3 years passed and the music what he writes and plays still has a certain taste of frankeinsteinism, but now his signature blue melancholic melodic touch and avantgarde instrumental heroism just beams trough all of his songs. The frankeinsteinism transformed into a very recognizable "daniel vargaism".

His new album the Moped Loewen Jazz Rock Orchestra is reaching for the stars - he wrote and arranged his music for 13 musicians. The monumetalism of his songs just got more epic with the extra 7 horns. These layered, complex arrangements are played by professional musicinas who took the challange and made this music sound special and took it to a higher level.
And there is a bonus factor: the soulfulness of the songs. All of the lyrics are prayers of a lost man, one could say psalms, poems about seeking help from God, or pictures about how faithless the humanity has became. The songs are like chapters in a novel. Chapters, which might not give you answers, but ask the questions.
The combination of the lyrics and the monumental arrangements will definitely take everyone on a journey, which will not leave anyone untouched.

Daniel Varga is a Hungarian saxophonist and composer, who made himself a name with his virtuoso saxophone playing and colorful experimental indie rock band Moped Loewen. He studied in Austria under the hands of Julian Arguelles and Ed Partyka. In the past year he has been winning all kinds of awards in Hungary with his bands (Palace of the Arts Jazz Showcase - special prize, 2nd best band on a Hungarian Talentshow with Moped Loewen, Újfalusy Gábor award for most talented musician in 2018/2019) and also with his big band writing (3rd prize on the Hungarian Jazz Composing and Arranging Competition organized by the Hungarian Jazz Federation). Recently he has been invited in to the finals of the prestigious Michael Brecker International Saxophone Competition, which will take place in August at the Red Sea Jazz Festial in Eilat, Israel.

Flutist and sax-player, producer and DJ, Fanni Zahár is a versatile musician involved in countless musical projects across Europe. With a strong desire to adapt her playing to diverse musical environments, she has gained extensive experience through collaborations with artists such as Ábáse (DE), Deva (HU), Joe Armon-Jones (UK), Dirg Gerner a.k.a. Flako Natureboy (DE), and Mop Mop (IT), to name a few.

Now, after 15 years of performing in bands and participating in numerous collaborations, she is turning her focus toward producing her own material under the name Zakhorov. The time has come to absorb all those experiences, lessons, and inspirations and channel them into her own music.
