The music taste of Ilia (aka MϟPℂRKT) was largely formed by the sounds of underground Russian and Ukrainian scenes, as well as niche European parties and festivals. His sets are a journey through energetic, dark, and spacey realms, with fast-paced raw techno rhythms woven with experimental layers, captivating sound structures, and quirky twists. For myspacerocket, music is the most fascinating and the most fun form of art. He thrives on discovering unique tracks in the endless stream of new releases, sharing his finely curated selections with a like-minded audience.


Since moving to Melbourne in late 2022, he has established himself in the local electronic music scene as a resident DJ with Anomalie Collective. His growing presence has included DJ and hybrid performances at Melbourne's vibrant club landscape: Tilt Shift, New Guernica's Eat the Beat, Kiss FM radio, iconic My Aeon, Russian House Melbourne, and many more. Driven by his vision for raw and hypnotic sounds, he has also curated and organised Dark Matters rave, delivering an immersive outdoor experience alongside fellow artists. Currently, he is experimenting with live performance and hardware integration, exploring new dimensions of his sound.

With nearly 20 years experience in all things Techno in Melbourne, Australia, Ranjit Nijjer has truly carved out his own unique piece of the city’s landscape as a promoter, DJ and more recently as a producer. His event Technoir has become an institution in Melbourne; an important Techno destination over its life of over 19 years, showcasing home made talent from across the full spectrum of Techno.
Ranjit’s DJ sets are full of energy and a delicate intensity, as he expertly layers and weaves high volumes of tracks to create a truly distinctive dance floor experience for Techno fans both young and old.
Whether it is deep, hypnotic, ethereal rhythms or relentless, pounding harder sounds (often tinged with his special brand of funk), Ranjit gives the dancefloor and the listener his all.
This passion and care has seen Ranjit consistently booked around town for many years now, including several appearances at the acclaimed Rainbow Serpent Festival.
2020 saw Ranjit begin releasing his own music, with multiple EPs on Australian Techno imprint ‘Machine’ and very quickly he has found himself with tracks on labels around the world. 
2022 has even seen the release of his debut LP ‘Echoes In Time’ on Spanish label ‘Diffuse Reality’.
