MAOUS is a Swiss/ Mozambican songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Born in Mozambique, and raised in Geneva, Switzerland. He is an international musical powerhouse, with a background in songwriting spanning nearly a decade. MAOUS began his musical career in Johannesburg, working with a producer and engineer associated with UMG and Sony to record his first single 'In The Mirror' under the name 'Elle Guéz'. He moved on to establish his artistry in Geneva under the name 'E.L.L.E', and set about mixing and recording up-and-coming talent around the city. In 2018 he moved to Florida, and two years later, graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Recording Arts. He relocated to London in 2021, and has since been songwriting for artists. Focusing mainly on Pop and R&B, he prides himself on genre-hopping, and musical diversity. Having written and produced in genres such as Latin Pop, Reggaeton, House, Baile Funke, Rap, Singer-Songwriter, Alternative Rock, and Country, he has an eclectic repertoire, and an understanding of sound that is entirely unique to him. MAOUS' life experience has led him all over the world, amidst people of varying social groups. He's gained appreciation for working with people of different cultural, and linguistic backgrounds, and is able to observe insights into the global music market that ensures his clients release music with the best potential for success in their genre of choice.
