Dolla Selects Vol 1. August

In 2020, college friends Mike, Pat, and Ryan decided to try to make their mark in the EDM scene with their high energy mashups and remixes. Fast forward to 2022, and the guys have racked up supports around the globe from some of dance music's biggest stars including Diplo, Alan Walker, and Galantis. Based in NYC, the group's first break came in the way of a collab with Dutch mashup and tech house standout WeDamnz last summer. The ""Internet Spaceman Split"" mashup the tandem produced enjoyed support from artists including 4B, Flosstradamus, and SAYMYNAME, while being played on festival stages around the world. Notable artists who have supported other mashups from the group include Two Friends, W&W, Cheyenne Giles, and TV Noise helping amass over 300,000 streams to date.

On the production side of things, the boys recently made it onto Diplo's Revolution channel on SiriuxXM with their club remix of Usher's hit ""Yeah!"" with fellow NYC artist LUSSO.

With appearances at NYC venues including Above It All @ The DL, Hotel Chantelle, and Mercury Lounge and a full release slate for the rest of 2022, Redliners are excited to bring you this mix!

Thiccc - Outta Shape

“It’s a Bad Day” by Jeffrey Lulanaj is a brooding indie-folk track with a raw, minimalist edge. Built on a foundation of sparse, stumbling percussion and melancholic acoustic guitar strums, it carries a gritty urban texture. Lulanaj’s vocals, rough yet intimate, weave through the mix, delivering introspective lyrics with a blend of whispered vulnerability and defiant grit. The chorus swells subtly, layering in faint electric guitar accents and a pulsing bassline, creating a restrained but anthemic lift. Clocking in at just under four minutes, the song’s stripped-down production and deliberate pacing let each note breathe, making it a compelling, introspective listen.

Its a Bad Day

When I think back of the legendary speech 'I Have A Dream' by rev. Martin Luther King, I question whether we really made so much progress since then. Still way too many people in this world are being discriminated because of their race, religion or social status. Politics are more polarised than ever. But that should not stop us from fighting and praying for freedom and justice. I still have that dream, that one day, we can all live together in peace. And choose leaders that unite instead of divide.
