Dieses Mal produzierte der alteingesessene Brüsseler DJ und Produzent @dka die 2-Track-EP „Mind Looped“: „Ich lasse mich von allem inspirieren, das mich umgibt. On 25. september 2015, the OFF Crew, represented by Andre Crom, Nandu and P41, hosted Sisyphos' "Hammerhalle" for the first time. It was a special event for all of us, playing 3-4 hour sets each on the amazing Function One Soundsystem in front of 1000 devoted clubbers.

Nandu opened the night, building the tension with techhouse grooves. 

Then Andre Crom took over, playing the middle slot with rolling grooves meandering from functional to emotional techno.

Finally, P41 closed the night, delivering 3 more hours of eclectic sounds, switching from minimal to maximal techno.

Meanwhile, Melokolektiv and Konvex & The Shadow played a 4 hour B2B set with deeper and spacier sounds in the cozy Wintergarten

We at OFF were really delighted about the night, and felt it was a strong statement towards our future vision.

Heute vor drei Wochen erhielt ich eine sehr traurige Nachricht, die mir mal wieder vor Augen geführt hat, dass "Carpe Diem!" keine bloße Floskel ist. Einen persönlichen Abschied gab es leider nie. Dieser Mix ist ein musikalischer Abschiedsgruß und soll jedem in schweren Zeiten Kraft schenken, denn manche Lichter erlischen leider viel zu früh, auch wenn sie für uns immer weiter strahlen werden...

Heute vor einem Jahr wählte ich Musik für meinen Mix "Lebenslänglich" aus und einen Tag später ging er online. Die Auswahl folgte keiner bestimmten Logik – nur gefallen musste sie mir. Was danach geschah ist für mich heute noch unglaublich! Auch wenn Zahlen nur Schall und Rauch sind, schrieb ich wenige Wochen später ein paar davon zusammen mit wünschenswerten aber für mich völlig utopischen Zielen auf einen Zettel und legte diesen in meine Schublade.

Die Ziele wollte ich am letzten Tag des Jahres überprüfen. Ich habe nicht daran geglaubt, sie zu erreichen – geschweige denn zu übertreffen. Eingetreten ist jedoch beides. Ich blicke stolz auf das wohl ereignisreichste Jahr meines Lebens zurück und bedanke mich von ganzem Herzen!

Ich danke euch, meinen treuen Fans und Unterstützern, ich danke allen Künstlern, die mich mit ihrer Musik versorgen und mich inspirieren, ich danke allen Clubs & Veranstaltern, die es mir dieses Jahr ermöglicht haben, andere Menschen glücklich zu machen, ich danke allen neuen und alten Freunden sowie meiner Familie dafür, dass ich bin wie ich bin.

Aber besonders danke ich meiner Freundin, die mir jeden Tag zeigt, dass man alles schaffen kann, wenn man hart genug dafür arbeitet und an sich glaubt. Oft erscheinen uns Ziele zu groß und wir uns zu klein, aber in jedem von uns steckt mehr als wir denken!

Born and raised in Berlin, Daniel Boon is like his namesake, the American pioneer, never afraid of new pathways and ideas. And thus he moved from West Berlin to East Berlin's vibrant and trendy district Friedrichshain after the fall of the Wall. Here he was socialized with electronic music and soon began taking his first steps as a DJ in the Matrix Club in 1997. Shortly after, he started his own event series, “Electrosex”, which was accountable for numerous orgiastic party nights in various Berlin party locations. In his next endeavor, he joined forces with Oliver Tatsch: the first “Ostfunk Berlin” party was celebrated in the club Maria am Ostbahnhof in 2003. This bombshell of a party was soon followed by a new event series, “IncognitoBerlin”, held in the legendary old Tresor until the club's closing in 2005. That very year Boon and Tatsch launched Ostfunk Records, which has become one of Berlin's leading techno labels to date.
When Daniel Boon is not spinning the decks or organizing parties, he is producing new tracks. He has been releasing his own music since 2008, his first record being “Woop!” (OSTF007), which was remixed by Lützkirchen (“Drei Tage Wache”) and was received enthusiastically by critics and fans alike. In 2010, he teamed up with Stereo Jack to become JackDaniel – a high-volume techno project that saw its first release “DancingClappingScreamingShouting” (OSTF026) on Ostfunk Records in 2011.
