It's basically about getting out of your comfort zone to look at the world from a new perspective.

The point of the song was my realisation of the bleakness of everything. Life itself is repetitive, and you're never gonna know when it's end, and it eventually will even if it feels like it's going to go on forever. That was kind of my point of this song, which I tried to articulate sonically.

This song is in the perspective a teenager who doesn't know any better; losing someone, and then being sore about them moving on before you do.
