Vivus Artist – VA 5

The Vivus family has grown at a staggering pace in the last few years. We have always believed in quality music that will take the listener on an unforgettable journey and with this goal in mind, we organized memorable events and released unique sounds on both digital & vinyl. After more than five years of growing in the underground music scene in Europe, we have learned a lot, but most importantly we have made some amazing friends along the way.

With this in mind, we want to present to you a really special release. VA 5 is a project very close to our hearts. We have gathered some of the most talented artists and lovely people we know to make a truly impressive compilation of powerful tracks.

We send our love to Andu Simion, Cojoc, Daniel Broesecke, DumitrEscu, Lukea, Lulla, Lumieux, Macarie, Senoo, Tobias Laun, Vern, Vincentiulian, VLF and thank them for being part of this amazing project and for always creating wonderful music.

Playing a set in the techno capital is prestigious, but it can be demanding. Even a roaring crowd may not fully recharge you. But not for Needle and Plate. Spontaneity has always been the hallmark of this unstoppable duo. A few inspiring photos were all it took to book a flight to a neighbouring country. Now they were playing tag hopping from a cobblestone to a cobblestone like those were some tiny islands. Narrow streets guided them through vibrant facades, terraces, bridges, and graffiti walls. A bottle of Soplica in hand meant that this evening was bound to be something special.

Their urban quest eventually came to an end, giving way to the magic of a neon-lit courtyard, and then to a serene riverside view. Warm air, the quacking of ducks, and the laughter of passersby slowed down the time itself. Needle and Plate sat silently watching the city lights ripple across the water. “Sometimes spontaneous decisions bring the best stories,” Needle said softly. Like a rare track played only once, Wrocław would forever remain not just a place, but a feeling.

Minube is a Moldovan producer who has been making music for over 10 years. In that time, he has developed his own style and sound that resonates closely with the spirit of Juuz Records.

We’re happy to present his latest EP, featuring a detailed recraft by Martin M, as well as a contribution from a new name on our label — though certainly not new to the scene — Nathan Burns from Canada.

We're also looking ahead to JUUZ005, our upcoming vinyl-only release, which includes another stripped-back, minimalist track by Minube, expeced to arrive this June.

Music has the power to bring up memories and feelings, but the right musical journey can take you to places where your mind hasn’t even dared to dream of. These kinds of smooth odysseys are Daniel Broesecke’s specialty.

Daniel’s life has been tangled with the electronic music scene ever since 2006. He is a real connoisseur who can study the slick elements of techno and create a pitch-perfect painting of mellow, playful, and frisky sounds that blend in seamlessly to take the listener where he needs to be.

His experience, talent, and all-around craft have made Daniel a real staple in the underground scene, with his tracks, released at labels such as Vivus, Particular, UVAR, Curtea Veche, or Gazool being played by the likes of Nu Zau, Arapu, Priku or Sublee.

Daniel likes to always take things to the next level: Vivus Records and Particular, his two mesmerizing creations, provide the music scene with unique and mind-bending new sounds that will always leave the listener wanting more.
