Last night, Hardwell played yet another inimitable set that took a frenzied Tomorrowland audience on a ride of a lifetime, and it is now available for viewing exclusively on his YouTube channel. Opening his performance with his new record, "Jumper" with W&W, due out on August 5th, he immediately let it be known that something special was upon the valley that was adorned with fan-made Hardwell flags from front to back. With highlights including a load of other unreleased Revealed Recordings tracks including Kill The Buzz' 'Shake' due for release this monday, a stunning mashup of Avicii's "Wake Me Up" that had everyone singing in harmony, a crowd-wide sit down, and heavy rain in the last 10 minutes, his set was the most explosive of the night with Millions of live listeners around the world experiencing yet another landmark Hardwell set. His tracks 'Spaceman', 'Apollo', 'How We Do' and his latest single 'Never Say Goodbye' went trending on Twitter while playing. Last years liveset of Hardwell on Tomorrowland gained over 18 millions views on youtube so with this adding a high in demand follow up. Hardwell strives to push the limit of what's possible, and he consistently delivers with remarkable output time and time again.

Things that have to happen happen

Just returned back from Burning Man, where we happened to meet these two really nice fellas who turned out to be the fathers of this little cloud. Thanks guys!
Even if we only stayed a few days, Nico Stojan and me had an amazing time with all ups and downs and of course plenty of dust everywhere.
Being in Black Rock City was a perfect reset and somehow seems to become more and more of a new general birthday, meaning that after Burning Man you start into a new year.
This is exactly how I feel. One year has come to an end and a new one is taking over. Also it coincides with the end of the summer up here in the northern hemi.
Now I am very looking forward to go back to the studio and meditate with my machines and cables. I urgently need this time to become a bit more quiet, not yet hibernating, but still creative. This is the reason why there won’t be many shows in the next months. But yet there are some more Acid Sundays to come and of course you always are invited to tune in, turn on and drop out, be it here or on mixcloud or simply on acid. 

Now let’s jump a little back to the beginning of this summer. After a Fusion pause last year it was about time to return and I have to say it was more than a pleasure to play at Seebühne that early Sunday morning, right after Be Svendsen’s amazing set. For some moments even the sun joined for a little dance. And there were so many happy faces to see.
The last 20 minutes are a reminiscence to my set at Splore festival, New Zealand, earlier this year.  I had brought some of my favorite Kiwi music, but ended up in a rush towards the end as they were cutting my set-time. I wanted to to this one more time, properly, without rush. Fusion was the perfect place and moment for it.
You probably might find some tracks that you already know from my others sets, but frankly, I think rather a bit of repetition than not sharing this one at all.
There is one track in particular that I have been playing over and over for the past nine months and I still can not get bored of it. It manifested the day Nana went on to her journey. 
With all my heart, I believe that I was only channelling at the studio that day, because if it really was a track that I had made consciously I would surely have gotten bored after playing it that often ;-)
A lot of people have been asking wether it will be released and when. I am happy to announce: Yes it will be released, almost soon. Even more happy that it will be released on one of my favorite labels, I never dared to ask.
But see, things that have to happen happen.

After many years working on different bands (heavy metal, rap, ethno/world/fusion) he released in 2011 his first psytrance track on the Klopfgeister’s compilation “Stand up against gravity” (Iono Music). He joined Altar Records with his album “Dreaming Sun” (september 2011), followed by “Unity” wich came out in 2013. Da brodelt es aber diesesmal ordentlich in der heimlichen Gerüchteküche! Alle Ventile stehen auf Anschlag, die Kessel pfeiffen und tief unten im Topf braut sich langsam aber stetig Druck auf. 

Der Druckanzeiger am Deckel voll im roten Bereich und wir wundern uns weshalb es immer nebliger in der Küche wird. Vor lauter Dampf merken wir gar nicht, dass uns der Kopf in die Hose rutscht und das Herz unter dem Arm liegt. Oder war das anders herum? Naja, mittlerweile auch schon egal, es wird ja eh nichts so heiss gegessen wie es gekocht wird.

Jedenfalls lichtet sich der aufgestiegene Dampf langsam wieder und siehe da, es kocht heute iorie, wer hätte das gedacht <3

‘Elegy' is a piece that comes from deep origins. While working on an organic and cozy groove back in 2013, we somehow parked this project realizing we need the right voice and words with it. Fast forward 5 years later to Garbicz festival and somehow we meet Sarïta on the very last day, realizing she had been tenting next to us the whole time! As soon as we all jived into one unit, we knew she was the essence we had been waiting for to finish what we had started. One day after the festival finishes, we run to our studio in Holzmarkt Berlin and the rest is history.

POSITIVE MESSAGES #7 : ALEXIS LE TAN 'Positive Message From Quarantine'

Hi friends,

I hope you and your loved ones are all well and staying safe. 

There goes our special year..Harder than I thought it would be, with more transformations than I thought it would have. What a time we are living! When you scratch the agony on the surface, do you also feel like this crisis is making us go back to our roots, our connections with others? Our friends, families, neighbours, communities? Our tribes? We were so separated and disconnected.  Shaked up by a crisis, we are now going back to our tribes. That's why this whole epidemic is becoming a triumph of the tribes for me...

I hope you enjoy this uplifting mix, full of tribal, afro, groovy sounds with occasional disco touch.  More or less the sound I like to play on live sets. I am celebrating the massive awakening and I want you to join me. Stay safe :)

This last October, together with Maalem Omar Hayat and his crotales players, we performed a show combining Gnawa music infused with electronic music. Creating bridges between tradition and modernity, an image of the synergies of cultures. An initiative from Moga Festival, called Moga Creation.

The film features a new and exclusive track “A Day In Essaouira”, a sound immersion into the life of Essaouira which is release on Klassified Bandcamp and profits will go to the Associations Yerma Gnaoua and Issaouas in order to help Moroccan traditional musicians and their families to overcome the CV19 crisis.

With this ambitious new project, we have taken our musical venture even further by discovering different cultures, tribes and their specific sounds. This episode is the first one of the video series “A Day In” where we translate, through field recordings, a specific culture, city or country. It is said that “Music is the universal language” and Parallells aims to show how it connects people as well as showing the world’s beauty and uses music as a force for change.

Over a hundred years ago, when our ancestors were first brought here, the land of the village was barren and gray. Everything was dull and colorless, the wind cold and bitter. Still, our ancestors worked hard. They built houses out of mountain stone, sewed warm, wadded- cotton jackets, and planted seeds in the hard dirt. 
 But, despite their efforts, the land 
refused to bear a single plant or flower. However, even though it looked hopeless, our ancestors continued to work. 
Then one night, when the moon was big and round, the air filled with a strange fluttering sound. Our ancestors thought that a great storm was coming and rushed inside. 
And a great storm was coming. With a crash, raindrops seemed to fall from the sky. 
But what strange rain it was! Round and smooth, in the glowing light the raindrops looked like silver pearls! And when they touched the ground, they disappeared. 
“It’s raining pearls!” our ancestors said to each other. “Jewels from the moon!” And they rushed out with baskets and bags, catching what they could from this strange storm. Magically, when the raindrops were caught, they didn’t disappear; and soon their baskets and bags were full. 
 But in the morning, our ancestors saw that the drops were not pearls or jewels. In the sunlight, they saw that they were really seeds. But no one knew what kind of seeds they were. Curious, they planted them in the hard earth. 
 And when the moon raised again that night, the strange rain fell again as well. This time our ancestors were not fooled and just watched the drops disappear into the ground. But in the morning, the  planted seeds were sprouting as if watered by a magic brew. 
 So night after night the seed rain fell from the sky. And as daylight broke over the land, the seedlings grew higher. Soon they grew into beautiful silver trees with golden flowers. They were so beautiful, our ancestors planted more and more seeds and soon the whole village was blooming with hundreds and hundreds of flowering trees. 
And since then our home has been called the Village of Moon Rain. We plant new seeds every day, and every night, the moon rain falls and every morning a new seedling sprouts. Maybe in another hundred years all this stony land will be covered with trees and the mountain will be as golden as the Moon.

 As jewels  from the moon our next storyteller Manucho spreads the seeds into the ground of the music , which grows beautifully and lets us listeners enjoy  and appreciate  his musical creatures.  Sounds crafted by him are pure , fresh and groovy , and it’s so easy to get lost into them and set the soul and  body free .

Wenn es Nacht wird und wenn fast alles schläft, kommen sie hervor aus ihrem gemütlichen Versteck. Auf leisen Sohlen schleichen die Beiden unermüdlich im Mondscheinlicht umher und jeder noch so unentdeckte Winkel der Nacht wird durchforstet. Nichts bleibt im Dunklen verborgen, nicht die kleinste Ecke gerät in Vergessenheit. Mit jedem weiteren Erkunden klingt jeder Ton sanft zu uns herüber und hüllt uns ein, wie eine kuschelig, wohlig, warme Decke. Eine entspannte Gemächlichkeit breitet sich aus, als wäre Tomte Tummetott persönlich vor Ort.
