Selfshade isn’t only the debut album from Daniel En Test. It’s also a deep journey through the artist’s vision about the love, life and music itself. A never-ending cyclic LP produced by Proux, another big artist from Catuss Records. More like a concept, Selfshade try hard to let you know that the feelings aren’t something endless, but they are always changing. Every change is a new shade which lasts on the floor every single step we made. So, there’s where Daniel En Test starts singing not only about his pain and sorrow, but also about material happiness, the joy of traveling, and discovering that we don’t really know anything about the world we live. We can’t really see nothing because our eyes are just focused in our own needs and pain. The need of being loved, and the pain of love another one through ourselves.
