Since the iconic In Search of Sunrise series returned as an annual tradition, there are fewer who have made a more impactful contribution than Daxson. He returns for a third successive outing, and dials up the emotion again with Ethereal.

With his legacy in Coldharbour folklore already well secured through a catalogue of anthemic compositions, his previous ISOS entries, in the form of Sonder and While We Wait (the latter christened by Markus Schulz as his personal favorite of 2020), have risen the expectations of what the Manchester resident has prepared for the 17th edition.

Enter Ethereal, demonstrating a tender and reflective melody that strives to stir emotions; generating a feeling that only trance can. A piece to touch the soul, Daxson's run of In Search of Sunrise inspirations continues.

Gone are the title track and B2 and in is 'Relaxed', a summer house anthem that slams from the high heavens. Oh, what a meteoric rise it’s been. Supported by a number of timeless, highly-acclaimed, and devastating tracks, the mysterious cloaked duo known only as ‘Gaia’ managed to convert so many of the Trance enthusiasts to their way of thinking, their way of life, and their way of music. But although such a legacy must be cherished, that doesn’t mean one cannot strengthen it any further. 

Hand-picked by Armin van Buuren himself to be the first instant gratification of his mint ‘A State Of Trance 2016’ compilation, ‘Inyathi’ leads the charge on the rest of the global crowds in an attempt to reel them in to its side with stomping beats and soul-nourishing melodies. What started with ‘4 Elements’ and saw its fire re-lit through ‘Tuvan’ picked up pace through magical creations such as ‘Empire Of Hearts’ and ‘Carnation’, only to continue the rampage through ‘Inyathi’. Expect a true dance floor stampede whenever this one hits.

Ferry Tayle & Static Blue had quite a 2009 with their huge L'Acrobat release doing the business across the summer months. With a bulging gig diary including Trance Energy, Ferry now looks certain to be one of the big stories of 2010.

Kicking of 2010 in quite emphatic style, the duo land with the long awaited follow up, Trapeze. Having seen heavy support to all the mixes on Armin's ASOT (Tune of the Week) and Above & Beyond's TATW, the hype is a boiling point already for this superb release.

The original has everything you want in an uplifting trance track; drive, power, lush melodies and heavenly vocals. Remix duties fall to Daniel Kandi, who's mix has already been made Tune of the Week by World No. 1 Armin van Buuren, and Arty, whose Digitally Enhanced Intro Mix has been used by Above & Beyond to open all their recent shows, and by Will Holland on his Digitally Enhanced Vol Three compilation, which is coming this March.
