NAM NITTY was born to be a EMCEE.
He is a student of the greats that have come before him, it shows through his sound that he is the complete package.

Born and raised on Long Island, N.Y., NAM NITTY is a super talented emcee dedicated to delivering what not only hip-hop but what music as a whole needs and has been waiting for. Since 16 he has been crafting his style, expressing his emotions through the electrifying lyrics in his songs.The heart, mind and soul of a child of the ghetto goes into every letter of every verse he writes. His music is the refection of the world he comes from, the good, the bad, and the ugly of a young black man in today's america.

NAM NITTY has been the opening act for the likes of Red Cafe, Papoose, Remy Ma, Styles P, Fred Da Godsun, Uncle Murda and several others on various stages, but his live show is second to none. He has also released several mixtapes from his "THIS IS NOT A MIXTAPE" series in the streets out the back of his trunk as well as via the internet. He has worked with a slew of known as well as unknown producers and artists. Known for his unorthodox style of wordplay, creative song themes & energetic stage presence NAM NITTY has built a fanbase throughout the tri-state area & beyond.

As the frontman of S.S.P (South Side Platoon), one of the most powerful movements to emerge from the New York underground music scene, NAM NITTY not only is an aspiring artist on the rise, he also knows what he is doing on the production side of things as well as the business end, leading the careers of several others. With acting also under his belt it just goes to show how much of the complete package he is.

Born and raised in Long Island New York, Music has been my passion since i was able to hear. Going from Dancing to Lip Singing to Really singing. I couldn't stop making my own music. Being the 3rd generation in the family that does music feels like I want to make it for all others that tried.

Not to say he hasn't seen life on the West Coast during the prime of the West Coast era (93-96)with Snoop, Dre, and Pac.  Typ iLL is an artist who has seen both coasts in the game as well as both sides of the world spending 6 years Active Duty and 2 tours of combat in the Middle East.  It is safe to say he has a loaded clip and is ready to let off a few rounds into the music industry (no pun intended).
