DJ Bofka believes this very important acronym has defined his life in such a way that he changed his stage name to reflect the one who he owes credit to his success.

Born an raised in Salem, Massachusetts, DJ Bofka began his career playing for get-togethers and birthday parties when he was in high school. The first time he figured out his talents was at the age of 10, when he discovered he had a knack for all things musical.

The rest is history.

His first paying gig was a birthday party and he received $80 to bring his equipment and play a few songs. It was another sign, one which confirmed his passion and his calling were one in the same. After perfecting his craft, he was finally ready to take his career to the next level.

Although he did not get to know his father due to his father's ongoing health battles, Bofka was surrounded by his remarkable and tight knit family, who weren't short of male role models. Being a father himself now to his two beautiful children, whom he shares with his wife of 12 years, he draws from his experiences and the experiences of those around him in order to be the best he can be in every way possible.

DJ Bofka has an affinity for Caribbean and African music. As a Haitian man it gives him great pride to play music that unites all people. One of his favorite things about presenting his art is the joy and celebration that ensues, including the amazing potential for all types of choreography, planned or spontaneous.

Located in the Greater Boston area,he is quickly becoming a Multimedia Entertainment Empire as his ventures and vision begin to align.
