I’ve woven together the deep, grounding beats of Afro House with the pulsating energy of House and Electronic music, along with the soul-stirring sounds of world influences, to take you on a journey of release, connection, and self-expression.

The set flows with intention, balancing high-energy moments with slower, more meditative rhythms that invite you to relax, reflect, and reconnect. As we move through the different waves of music, I encourage you to surrender to the beats, allowing the sounds to move you and guide you to a deeper sense of peace and connection—both with yourself and the collective energy of the dance floor.

PURE LOVE ॐ Ecstatic Dance @ SOUL⟡TRIBE Journey, April 2025

Our epic EDUK day festival EmboDAYfest last Saturday included this wonderfully emotional shamanic ecstatic offering by Taoro, who was accompanied by friends Sudha, Gary, Rodrigo & Guppy, with live percussion, flute & bass. This recording was made live at Cardiff Ecstatic Dance at Coed. A beautiful cacao ceremony and special Taurus 'Rooted' edition of the dance, both dances that shall live on in our body and mind memories. 

Enjoy this medicine dance that honours the forests, all nature, plant medicine people and their spirits - We go deep, we root down far, so we rise so high. Take some space, breathe and move as you feel to with these sounds and waves. Please let me know in the comments if you enjoy :)

As the label celebrates its 10th release, Moon By Day continues to solidify its reputation as a platform for dreamy, downtempo electronica and acoustic beats. At its core, the label showcases music from the heart, inspired from all around the world, and the debut EP from Louis Tobin aka MOONTIDE continues to embody this philosophy. As the EP title suggests, the Melbourne-based producer takes us on a journey of his 27th year, not only emotionally but also physically, with the tracks recorded between Central America and Australia’s Mornington Peninsula. Varied, yet coherent, Tobin explores the boundaries of downtempo electronica with this milestone release for the label.

Opening the EP is the sexy, yet emotive Amore, with its slinky, seductive pace and layers of string samples. With melancholy chords and cinematic crescendos, Broken is a high-energy, breakbeat- influenced cut, conveying a range of complex emotions. Lolite is both beautiful and driving with its heartbeat-esque rhythm and dramatic vocal samples. Both meditative and slightly eerie, The Only Wanderers is somewhat of a nod to the producer’s spirituality with its pulsating percussion and layered instrument samples from the didgeridoo through to the sitar.

Joaquin Cornejo finds hypnotic depth with his version of "Aguita Pura", while Barbarella takes "Suma Pinta Yage" to incendiary new heights.

On my journey to find some good samples i discovered this track on youtube called "Mapu e Ixã" (artist names i think) and instantly fell in love with it
- my ultimate summer track :) I remember listening to it 10x times on my way home after work.
I NEEDED to edit it! And here it is :) People went crazy when i dropped it at an open air ~~~ <3 i think it really represents the vibe of chameleoncast,
so this was the best place to upload it. thank you daniele, jasmin and the whole chamfamily

Movement is medicine and dance is the language of the soul. I have recently took up mixing as a hobby thanks to Covid and lockdown it pushed me new to getting back into music and dance in a different way.
