It is Quiet, It is Hushed

Half of folk pop duo Cabin of Love. One-quarter of Americana band The Foragers.

We took our name from a painting by Max Ernst, which features an innocent bird menaced by a threatening forest.

This mixture of innocence and menace is present in our songs, which explore different worlds, some light and some dark. 

Our debut EP "Pleasure to Burn" came out on 15th January 2016. Critics have been very kind, praising our blend of "Spanish folk with US southern blues":  http://emergingindiebands.com/forest-dove/
