A song of beautiful sentiments written by Beth Nielsen Chapman performed by myself and Laura. Laura superbly taking the lead vocal, her vocal is so clear and true, shades of Kate Rusby but as we’re finding more and more her sound is her own and uniquely belongs to Laura Savina. The guitar part is simply a single track too played finger style (Artey Style) on my Pierre Bensusan signature six string Lowden. Please repost it if you like how we’ve done this.

I've been watching Music Tech Help Guy(https://www.youtube.com/@MusicTechHelpGuy)YouTube tutorials on how to use Logic Pro. The guy is a legend; I'm only 9 tutorials in and I've spent the last night of the year creating this wee lullaby using my own loops created using a midi keyboard. 

I came up with the melody and then just repeated a phrase over and over. Simple, but I'm blown away by how easy it is to create my own loops. 

Off for a glass to celebrate and see in the New Year - Happy New Year!

Hush

Was watching 'Sprung', the comedy series this week, and this song featured in the soundtrack. I hadn't heard it for years. Couldn't get it out of my head. Wondered what it would sound like with some shruti box accompaniment. The rest is history. 
Feeling proper chuffed with myself as I played everything and sang at the same time, using the footpedal for my shruti. (Now I just need to be able to do it with people watching!)
