RL Grime - Atoms (feat. Jeremy Zucker) [Said the Sky Remix]

After touring Australia this year with @enschwayofficial & @daktylmusic I decided to buy a guitar and try to teach myself how to play. I’ve always been fascinated by the sound and I felt it would add a new element to how I create.

This song was the second time I tried to record something with the guitar and as I kept working, the song felt like an extension of Breathe. Something playful with a more mature sound that has similar emotion of the original.

I grew a lot this year being thrown into situations I didn’t expect and a lot of life events that you can never predict or prepare for. I spent the last half of the year throwing myself into anything that felt outside of my comfort zone - to grow not only as a musician but as an individual.

This is one of the last releases of the year but the first to show how that feeling has shaped the music I’m creating and who I’m becoming.

Got another concept mix for ya'll based on Wong Fu's video "The Last." Here I tried to break some barriers across genres by mixing in some of my old acoustic favorites with some feelsy future bass music presented where it's in context of each phase of the dialogue. The Last (Acoustic // Feels Concept Mix)

Relationships have their rough patches but it's how you recover that makes or breaks them. This mix is about holding on and fighting through those problems.

It's been a year since I started mixing and have been consistently trying to better myself so thank you for listening and all the people I've met! I really don't know how busy graduate school will be, but I will continue to make music even as I move to the next chapter of my life!
