You get on the internet and you initiate a chat
You  might think you're talking to a dog but its actually a cat
You strike up a conversation with someone who seems real nice
But when you're surfing on the internet you're rolling the dice

You just who you're dealing with on the internet 
You try to be skeptical but it's easy to forget

It used to be if you wanted to con somebody you had to get out of your chair, but now you can do it from the comfort of home while you sit in your underwear

A window pops up on your screen, there's a prize , it says you've been selected, so you click on the link and your computer gets infected
You get a fake email from your bank asking you to update your account
And when you log in the next day your balance shows a zero amount

This is an original folk ballad with Irish nuances to fit the Saint Patrick’s Day spirit of the love story it tells. The tale of one fateful day in a crowded pub that leads to an annual ritual of love and longing.

It’s ten in the morning, I sit in my car, 
The late winter sun settles in
I wait for a sign from the door of the bar, 
To beckon me enter, again

Today of all days, when the Danny Boy plays, 
I’m here where the story began
The day was the same, when in Saint Paddy’s name, 
I stood by the wall near the band

When out of the din, three ladies walked in, 
And one of them caused me to stare
Oh, I looked her over, this four-leaf clover, 
With a green ribbon bow in her hair
 
I finished my beer and ordered a chaser, 
And when I returned to the wall
There stood the ladies, and I had to face her, 
But no words came to me at all

I gave her a glance, saw a shift in her stance, 
The music poured on us like rain
And all I could do was to ask her to dance, 
And she smiled, how that memory remains

Cause we danced through the afternoon, many a pint,
