Tommy was my brother-in law and died at the age of 54. This song is a tribute to his fortitude to overcome many obstacles throughout his life, to ultimately enjoy the life he was given. He traveled extensively for his professional life and deeply appreciated the wonders of the world, some of the finer things, but he was always close to the same Tommy that grew up through controversy and adversity, just a half step ahead with a smile, a cigarette and perhaps a fine whisky or wine or tea or such. This is just a quick remembrance to honor his spirit and to let him know he is missed. Durge
