Something different for the holidays.

A lot of synths, keyboard, guitars, bass, bassoon, sleigh bells, shakers, tambourine in a mix of beats from hip hop to pop at 85 bpm. Migrating geese in flight recorded live October and November 2023.

So I had recorded geese calls to use in music. What developed was a surprise to me, Wild Geese music that came pouring out in one eight-hour period on the day before winter solstice. Don’t know if it’s good — just what happened when the geese took me on the journey with them, flying high to their good weather hideaways or on a trip home.

I was introduced to Mike Fox who's wonderful and intuitive instrumental talent transformed the song not to mention that truly wicked guitar solo he threw in and the truly wonderful production work he did. This an another one of those semi-live recordings. We took an initial iPhone recording of mine that was meant to be a simple test run and decided to keep it as the base to which Nat added her lovely harmony vocals and piano. It’s a very gentle, quiet love song that expresses how our deeply personal core is really one with nature, with God, where only the truest of spirits can find a home to share in love. The pine trees know and the dawn reveals such truths.
