Alex has been awarded the Paul Hindemith Prize, and Ivor Novello Composer He was nominated for the Gaudeamus Award for 2022 and was elected to the 9th International Composition Seminar and awarded a commission ILOLLI-POP for Improviser and Ensemble which he played with Ensemble Modern. He has been awarded by the London Sinfonietta’s Writing the Future commission CANDYFOLK- SPACE-DRUM  and has won the RPS Royal Philharmonic Society Composition Prize, DANKWORTH JAZZ prize for composition BYE and was made a London Symphony Orchestra Panufnik Composer. Alex played and recorded his concerto OD ODY PINk’d for Jazz Musician and Royal National Scottish Orchestra (RSNO). He was a Leverhume Art Scholar with the London Philharmonic Orchestra 2016-2017: NOW WE ARE DUH-DUR and has been awarded the Harriet Cohen Memorial Music Award for his compositions. His piece SPAKE represented the UK in the Orchestral section of the International Society of Contemporary Music (ISCM). He is a commissioned contributor to John Zorn’s Arcana X 2021. He has written six operas including NOGGIN and the WHALE (Massed forces including 500 young instrumentalists and singes) FOR the LOVE of THORNSTIEN SHIVER hosted by English National Opera and Helios Collective, BEL and the DRAGON as part of the Tête à Tête opera festival, the EQUIVOCAL HARRIET BOWDLER at Second Movement Opera and WOOLF MUSIC at the Forge in Camden and RAVEN’s CHILD for Jacob Colier and Orchestra.

As an improvising and jazz trombonist Alex has played as a soloist with Ensemble Modern, London Sinfonietta,  Riot Ensemble, Philharmonia Orchestra, Royal Scottish National Orchestra (RSNO), & ensemble x.y. Extensively, Alex writes art-music for musicians in community settings including, innovative ways of writing for young instrumentalists & singers in a post-Roald Dahl world of new-music.  eg: NOGGIN and the WHALE (Massed forces including 500 young instrumentalists and singes), Fly Like a Kitchen, Muffin, Pudding Tummy and The Sound of Magic. Ryan Elliott is a Welsh musician, composer and producer known for his adventurous, distinct and eclectic guitar playing and untempered ambition in writing and performing music.

In May of 2019, Elliott announced that he would be releasing his solo debut album, the music to follow will be a blend of many styles including rock, grunge, progressive rock/metal, dream pop and ballads all with a sense of strong conceptual grandeur of the 80’s: influenced by many artists including Steven Wilson, Bjork, Radiohead, Rush, Tears for Fears, Sting, Kate Bush, Peter Gabriel, Mew, David Bowie and Tool.

The debut single ‘Anything is Possible’ was released on 7th June with more singles to follow leading up to the full length release.

Elliott’s career began at the age of 16 when he started performing extensively as a soloist, for local musical productions such as ‘We Will Rock You’ and with function bands. In 2009, Elliott won the John Tree award for most promising musician in RCT. In 2010, he attained distinctions in RGT guitar grades 6,7,8 within 6 consecutive months before studying at the Academy of Contemporary Music, Guildford where he graduated with a first class honours in 2014.

From 2012 to 2018 Elliott was the leader of progressive rock band, Eden Shadow, who have released two full length albums under Rob Reed’s label White Knight Records, Phases (2014) and Melodies for Maladies (2016), both of which have sold internationally and features a range of guest musicians such as Nik Turner (Hawkwind) and Theo Travis (Steven Wilson/Soft Machine/ Robert Fripp). Melodies for Maladies was released to critical acclaim, being described as ‘a hidden gem’, ‘crazily good album’ and ‘one of the most accomplished and enjoyable progressive metal albums of 2016.’

In 2014, Elliott joined The Kinky Wizzards, the bass guitar and drum duo formed of brothers Miffy and Jiffy to transform the band into an instrumental rock and jazz trio. The band are garnering a reputation as being one of the most audacious and entertaining instrumental bands in the UK. The band regularly perform live, including being invited to the London Drum Show and supporting Frank Zappa’s band ‘The Mothers of Invention’ and Magenta. In March 2017, The Kinky Wizzards released their second album ‘Quirky Musings’ and was well received by listeners as a thoroughly entertaining instrumental album that was compared with the likes of The Aristocrats and Mahavishnu Orchestra.

The Kinky Wizzards are currently writing the follow up to their 2017 LP ‘Quirky Musings’ and go into the studio this summer.

Alongside his own creative endeavours, Elliott dedicates his time to music education, music journalism and  has extensive experience in freelance session work, having recorded for various jazz and pop sessions, played a variety of musicals and regularly performs with function bands.

Darragh Kelly is a composer and musician. He is interested in the ineluctable dialectics of the virtual vs the actual, subject vs object, the bathetic, the ecstatic, new music's ageing, and tonality's afterlife. Recent work makes use of AI, seeking to re-embody the output of neural networks and treat these systems as external organs of the body—a body in excess.​

Collaborators and performers have included Crash Ensemble, Heather Roche, The Smith Quartet, Darragh Morgan, Peter Brötzmann, Psappha Ensemble, Carla Rees, Michelle O'Rourke, and Elizabeth Hilliard. He received the 2018 West Cork Music Composition Prize for his work for string quartet, Blue, partly based upon the film by Derek Jarman. He is represented by the Contemporary Music Centre. In 2021, he received the Arts Council of Ireland Music Bursary, funding research and training in machine learning and a forthcoming collaboration with Irish composer and musician James McIlwrath. He has recently been awarded the Arts Council Next Generation Award for 2022, receiving €25,000 to support his work and research.

Darragh was a committee member for the Irish Composers' Collective for three years. He has studied at Trinity College Dublin and Trinity Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance.
