Traveling with Thiago Guiselini is somewhat that is done with the emotion and energy that are reserved solely to some of the best moments of our brief sojourn in this plane. His sets are filled with the essential elements that turn a mere musical selection into a sonic narrative: fluidity, precision, that sharpened sensibility to dialogue with the dancers and, with their help, tack, darn and enmesh sets whose potency and permanence are their strongest singularity.

The passion that propels his efforts is of that seminal, fundamental, visceral kind, the very one that helped fostering this movement to which he devotes most of his talent: House Music. Be it as a DJ, creating experiences of unique depth and elegance, or as cultural agitator, through Soul.Set, the event that transformed the way people from his hometown, Sao Paulo, experienced and enjoyed dance music and the festivity that sustains it, Thiago has kept himself at the forefront of production and promotion of the musicality that he espoused from the early moments of his career.

Bringing to the Brasilian metropolis stalwarts of the genre, such as Ron Trent, Joe Claussell, DJ Spinna, Atjazz, Metro Area, Jamie 3:26, Mark Farina, Rainer Truby, Andrés and likeminded artists to the public’s delight and acting as a proper host in musical terms, Thiago ended up as one of the main players in House Music’s recent renaissance in the country by introducing it to a younger generation of avid followers.

The same feeling of congregation, collective celebration, that feeling that is the music itself, regardless of who makes or dances to it, or simply enjoys it, is what drives him to keep on doing what he’s been doing so well. And it is exactly what he remains at dedicating himself, with the unbreakable constancy and consistency common to all those who made the history of this dancing institution.

Currently, Guiselini lives in Lisbon, where he founded Amor Records four years ago and played at festivals such as Waking Life, Lisb_ON Jardim Sonoro, Dekmantel SP and Nova Batida.

Logo nos primeiros passos de seu envolvimento mais comprometido com a música, Daniel Amaro já sabia o caminho a trilhar: promover um som diferente, agradável e que fugisse ao óbvio. Os primeiros passos vieram apresentando músicas na coluna Spotlight, no zine “Cheirando Cola”. A publicação emprestou o nome que acabou rendendo as primeiras discotecagens em dupla, regadas a indie, britpop e protopunk ao lado do  parceiro Gustavo Bill.

Anos passados, era hora de trilhar outros caminhos. Em 2005, o nome da coluna virou o pseudônimo de DJ: Spot já experimentava na Orange suas viagens musicais e em 2007 surgiu a parceria com Luis Fernando, o Speedkills. Um navegava pelo rock com levada de anos 90 e o outro com eletrônico influenciado pelos anos 80. Até 2012 a parceria rendeu bons resultados como inúmeras discotecagens em festas consolidadas como Play e VoodooHop.

Nos últimos dois anos, Spot revirou sua vida musical de ponta cabeça e só deu tiro  certo: idealizou e convidou alguns discotecários para organizar a Hit Happens – grupo  que busca trazer um pouco de frescor às pistas de dança e que apresenta diariamente  músicas novas via facebook –, conquistou a residência mensal na festa das quartas da  cidade, a TORANJA que agora é MORANGA, e também assumiu as rédeas das terças-feiras do Club 904 com o Cineme-se. O som de Spot traz aquela mistura perfeita de referências novas e antigas, em sets que trazem o balanço como foco: sempre um convite pra dançar.

True to their name, which translates into plus-minus, Zaed-Naes oscillates across several elements. Featuring guest musicians or vocalists, their project derives its energy from constant motion.  Since 2013, Zaed-Naes who contributed to the emergence of the middle eastern underground music scene, has been creating experimental electroacoustic performances throughout intimate venues and festivals.
Narrowing down the group's style proves difficult, between Basel Naouri, Amjad Shahrour, and Ammar Urabi, they bring together elements of jazz, trip-hop, loop-based electronica, and post-rock to form a unique sound -guided by local and regional influences.
