DEROGATORY was formed in late 2010. Founding guitarists Christian Ordonez and Joe Viwatkurkul wrote all the early material with Chris later taking the position of changing the music style and riff writing even further with later material. Derogatory has seen three drummers come and go before current drum guru Josh Null stepped in around 2014. Bassist Daniel Alonzo rounds out the lineup. In 2011, the band recorded a demo, which spread like wildfire around their native Los Angeles. Derogatory have been recently sign to German labeled FDA REKOTZ and will be releasing a full length debut album entitle " Above All Else" this late 2013. Derogatory specialized in heavy music played with fury, speed and technicality.

Starting in his very childhood, Quentin Sauvé draws his fervor from 15 years of involvement in the heavy music scene, and manages to strip it down expertly to the six strings of a folk guitar. Equally serene in the intimacy of a dimly lit house show or standing alone on stage in front of 500 festival-goers, the French songwriter and strong believer in the DIY way of life already boasts over 150 shows in Europe.
