Introspection - Momentaneous live sample

October 14th saw the beginning of Bassiani’s new party series ‘Curated by Resident’, with in-house selector Kancheli taking charge of booking and Anthony Rother jumping in as headline pick behind the decks. Rother is a German institution whose ghost in the machine vocoder-vocals and dark electro formulations dominated an era in club history and left an indelible mark on many who followed. For a few years, he took a break and let his past productions simmer, full concentration on hybrid sets and heading back to his Offenbach studio to turn whatever energy clubnights gave him into tracks. Back to releasing and touring the globe, he payed Tbilisi a visit this year. Bassiani Podcast 150 is a live recording straight from the Bassiani floor, a two hour mix of bionic bleeps and hair-raising basslines, Rother’s unmistakable fusion of man and machine is very much back with a vengeance.

Grid User (@artem-kres) is a young and aspiring producer/DJ from Ukraine. Grid User started his musical production journey with a track for a compilation on the Greek label called Tiger Weeds. Shortly thereafter he released the EP entitled 'Codes & Symbols' with another Ukrainian producer called Alex Gordiy.  He specifically called out 'modern dark Electro' and classic Electro as the direction his music will take in the future. He has new music that will soon be released on a handful of labels as well. On top of being a new/upcoming producer, this is only his 3rd ever mix as a burgeoning DJ. His mix for @DarkScienceElectro was made exclusively with the outlet in mind and features some of his favorite recent Electro tracks.
