The 22 year old has been holed up for the last few years writing but only recently felt comfortable enough to bring these songs into the light of day. 

’I feel as though when I'm in my room there's no judgement and no pressure to create something good so I can really experiment and be true to myself’. After writing in her room alone on a midi keyboard TRQS shows us writing beyond her years on ‘YNY’

‘YNY’ Is about the love life of a friend and the struggle to feel truly comfortable with someone. This relationship could have been such a positive thing but for whatever reason it didn’t last but my friend was left wondering where it could have lead’. ’It was never the right time for her to want more ('time was never on our side') but what they had in their brief time together had felt like it was leaning towards something more ('your love was only lust in disguise’)’. Taking cues from the likes of Sabrina Claudio, Alina Baraz, Jorja Smith and Kehlani. 

TRQS is looking to carve her own path. Telling real life stories that will have you wanting more.
