This version leans into distorted guitars, tense rhythms, and flashes of funk and rock, channelling frustration and emotional overload rather than resignation. It’s the sound of school corridors echoing with chaos, of quiet kids screaming inside, of a world that never quite made sense and still doesn’t.

Originally written by Tears for Fears, this cover transforms the melancholy into something raw and volatile. Not just sad, but furious.
