The next recording of the DISK_D Guest live series: Kim Kardashien (live) 002, was recorded at the Community Café on 01/18/25 at the DISK_D Experimental party. This is a duo that plays in the deconstructed club style. Music that is a response to the constant expression that everything has already been invented and played before us. It really is - played and made up, but now it is played in such a way that it is not immediately possible to understand what year and where the number is. In short, give these guys and yourself a chance, this is no ordinary industrial music, it's a truly special thing.

Отаке електро нам до смаку! Київська діджейкиня Makido, яка є родом з Донецька, сьогодні дарує нам понтовий електро мікс. Вже давно помічено, шо тяга до машинного, важкого музла яскраво проявлена у людей, які провели дитинство поряд із виробництвом, або індустріальних містах, як от міста сходу та півдня України. Темне, глибоке, гулке та круте електро, це те, під яке хочеться вриватись в центрі майданчика з сабами, а не сумувати про красиве і непонятне десь в кутку. Це прямолінійна але потужна музика, велкам кайфувати і робити свої справи разом під цей сет від Makido!  

We like that kind of electro! Kyiv DJ Makido, who is originally from Donetsk, gives us a superb electro mix today. It has been noticed long ago that the craving for machine, heavy music is clearly manifested among people who spent their childhood near production, or in industrial cities, such as cities of the east and south of Ukraine. Dark, deep, booming and cool electro is the kind that makes you wanna burst into the center of the venue with subwoofers, and not miss with the beautiful and incomprehensible tunes somewhere in the corner. This is straightforward but powerful music, welcome to get high and do your business together to this set from Makido!

We are happy to welcome back @spark-2 with his second mix entry here at @regulardisco.

Alex shares: "The moment I discovered Regulardisco, I noticed its fresh approach to the disco sound — which is essential. Too often, when artists work within disco genres, they don’t dive deep or explore much, and they’re not aiming to showcase something new or unique."

We couldn't agree more. In today's world, working within the disco direction means tracking the genre’s evolution rather than sticking strictly to the classic '80s sound. There's an evolution to it — just like any other genre.

We loved Alex’s debut mix for us, so we were beyond happy to receive a sequel — once again blending nu-disco, synth sounds, indie dance, EBM, piano house, and even a touch of progressive house. Just the kind of mixture we appreciate most!
