We happily would like to present our debut album "Faith and deLight" where we collecting our best Live recording from our recitals. We using only live recordings which were made during the performances that in our case makes the album more personal. 
We are Daniils Cirics and Maria Parfonova, Latvian-Ukranian duo of students from Conservatorium van Amsterdam.
In today's world, we are witnessing many terrible events that directly affect us. Maria is a 20-year-old Ukrainian pianist who had to leave her country due to the war. I am a Latvian violinist who studied in Moscow before the war, and as soon as the aggression began, I moved away from Russia, fearing that this aggression might spread to the Baltic countries, as we share a border with Russia.

This project aims to convey the essence of contemporary reality without words, making it a unique experience for each listener. Today, we find ourselves once again entangled in conflicts, disagreements, fears, and emotions that have persisted throughout the centuries of musical history. The program, titled Fate and DeLight, explores the intricate inner worlds of composers such as Beethoven, Mozart, Bartók, Elgar, and Brahms. Each piece in the program is carefully chosen to reflect the full spectrum of emotions these composers experienced due the composition to these pieces, shaped by the challenges and influences of their own times.
