Sebastian Borca aka Verzila is a local electronic Romanian dj, music producer and promoter, the one behind the well-known eponymous YouTube channel with the same name.

Heveloped a passion for modern electronic dance beats from the age of 14, exploring numerous genres and sub-genres. Over time, he finds the various flavors of house and techno to be the ones he resonates with the most and begins to devote more and more attention to music. 

A new chapter was written in May 2017 when he founded Welter Records, an independent label that aims to give more exposure to international and Romanian artists who are at the beginning of their careers. The second chapter was born in 2021 with the project label Inunct Music, which is a free download house with the aim of spreading music for free and helping artists express their vision through music.

For this second episode, we are excited to present an exclusive performance by Mhrrmv (Zamin Makharramov), one of the visionary founder and driving force behind Buta Records, the very first vinyl and digital label to emerge from Azerbaijan.

Founded in 2022 and based in Baku, Buta Records has quickly established itself as a forward-thinking label, dedicated to pushing the boundaries of underground electronic music. With a refined focus on Micro-House, and Breaks, the label serves as a unique bridge connecting Eastern influences with the modern minimal scene, constantly exploring new audio territories.

Mhrrmv, originally from Georgia and now based in Baku, has been an active and passionate contributor to the music scene since 1998. Beyond being the label owner, he is a highly respected DJ, producer, and radio curator. His first release appeared on vinyl under the label Intelligent Sound, and over the years, his artistic journey has evolved through countless collaborations and productions that highlight his dedication to electronic music’s minimal scene. 

In this exclusive podcast, Mhrrmv delivers a carefully curated session that reflects both his personal artistry and the musical vision of Buta Records, a label already making waves far beyond the borders of Azerbaijan.

The artist has 12 vinyl records and many releases on domestic and foreign labels, including German Rawax and Houseworx, French-Japanese Série Limitée and Russian Fox Trax. The artist is also the founder of his own label Simple Things Records with a focus on deep house and minimal.

With strong ties to early club culture in Romania, Dani Marcu of Bucharest is no stranger to the sound that has helped reshape the spectrum of minimalist techno into what it is today.

Dating back to 1999, Dani’s early background working in radio fueled his passion and exposure to music, gaining influence from the likes of Kraftwerk, Jean Michel Jarre and Romanian contemporary composer, Adrian Enescu. This inspiration in many forms of electronic music would eventually lead him onto warm up slots as a Dj playing records across nightclubs in Bucharest and in Cluj. Playing alongside notable pioneers such as Rhadoo, Pagal, Raresh, Livio and many more.

Throughout the years playing as a DJ, Dani Marcu has crafted a distinctive un-rushed style, known for his extended sets and allowing listeners to fall deep into his broad and unique form of storytelling.
