‘Things I Do’, Edu Imbernon’s new EP on Stil vor Talent, once again demonstrates what makes the charming Spaniard so unique – there’s always an air of mysticism and romance running through his floor-ready tracks. Partly due to a strong understanding of atmospherics and effects, partly down to a knack for working with great vocal talents. Like on ‘Mystery Inside’, Sutja Gutierrez lends his voice to ‘Things I Do’, which bedazzles as it journeys through an arrangement of floating pads, spherical echoes and delayed synths. 

Next to the original version, Teenage Mutants delivers an excellent remix that focuses on Gutierrez’ vocals whilst building a low-slung house framework of driving high-hats, bittersweet melodies and a forceful bass line around it. Lastly, Los Suruba take you on a real trip as they reduce ‘Things I Do’ to a minimalist afterhours burner composed of eerie bleeps and acidic licks.

With his hits 'The voice of Dru' and the '2 know U' EP on Exploited Doctor Dru earned respect and backslapping from the biggest names of the scene. Since then the journey has started and led him around the globe touring all continents. He spread the voice of dru in the well renown clubs around and gained much love for his adrenalizing sets. But a busy schedule doesn´t mean a special outcome: we are happy to finally have him back for our 13th release on JEUDI Records.

If you feel like that there is time for your dancing feet to have a portion of propellent beats you should hear what this track is telling you. Skyrocket sounds coated with sensitive words told in an outer space could be the right sweeping emotion you will get from this deep technoid groover. Rising talents White Leaf and Wassu, both of whom have released on Silk Music in the past, have gravitated toward the burgeoning organic house movement in recent years, so their first collaboration (on our label) was in some way fated. An "organica" affair from start to finish, their visionary "Berceuse" begins with a light tribal rhythm, as the distant echoes of an ancient civilization begin to seep into the soundscape. As the arrangement progresses, the subtle atmospheric effects begin to take shape into something more palpable, as crystalline, bell-tinged melodies and hauntingly beautiful vocal effects approach the foreground of the soundscape. DJs can be dime-a-dozen, but there is only one Danzik.

Danzik always had an undeniable love for music since childhood years. Hailing from the landscapes of Dubai, he began honing his craft by playing lead guitars and bass in a variety of rock band; including Myth, and Reclamation to name a few. 

Influenced by a vast array of musical inspirations, his signature sound and stylization as a multifaceted artist stems from industry heavyweights including John Petrucci, Dream Theater, Iron Maiden and many others over the years.

Determined to pursue a music career exclusively, Danzik joined NAPA, a Music Institute where he got to explore more about music and different types of genres, although his major was primarily Guitar. Later on, Danzik decided to expand his horizons into the world of EDM, and inevitably made a transition from Rock music to Dance Music. He Graduated from N.A.P.A in 2012, and quickly began to manifest his craft behind the turntables and the mixing board. 

He started recording an assortment of mixes and began learning audio production and mastering simultaneously. After being invited on to several radio shows as a guest, he eventually garnered the opportunity to host his own show on digitally imported radio called The Amulet with his close friend & co-host Eslam Elrayes from Egypt. Later, Danzik began hosting his new show Loop'D, which garnered more attention from worldwide fans and invited various DJs onto his show as guests, including prominent EDM artists including Saeed Younan, Adrian Hour, DJ Tarkan, Darin Epsilon & many more. Danzik’s Main Genres specialized in Progressive House, Tech House, Deep House, House , Minimal, Techno, and more.

As a recording and performing artist in the EDM realm, his musical influences range from DJs including James Zabiela, Carl Cox, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, and several others over the years. 

Danzik’s debut EP “Sirius” was released on February 18th 2018 through Mystic Carousel Records. His follow-up, Part 2 of the EP, will be released in June of 2018. He also has a new track releasing on April 30th on a Compilation (This Is Underground 17) called “One At A Time”. Another EP, “Gravity”, will be released on 3XA Music, and will also be making his debut later this year on Morning Glory and Balkan Connection Music Labels.

Danzik is currently grinding in the studio working on a variety of tracks for his follow-up efforts, slated for release this year in 2018 and also has his sights set on traveling worldwide for performances, club residency, festivals and collaborative projects. His goal is to make a name for himself, and a positive and promising impact in the industry.
