Here's my Broken Chair interpretation with broken beats, a big old bass line, some extra synths and arps and much of the classic sound still included. The last last 12 months or so have been pretty hard, various issues in affecting home life combined with relentless busyness at work have meant that there's been little time for DJing, and frankly not even much time for a lot of fun, everything's been very serious. The easter break gave me a bit of space to do some music and what popped out was this 2.5 hours of high energy dancing music. A lot of these tunes have really thick chunky basslines, reminiscent of late 90s house or even speed garage but also fit firmly in the progressive trance or trance asthetic. They are also a lot of fun, and both recording this and listening back put a big grin on my face, hopefully itll have the same effect on you.
