Governor Markham is a Rock/Funk/Blues band based out of southeastern Pennsylvania near Philadelphia. Founded in 2009 GM is made up of three members: Mike (drums/vocals), Dave (guitar/vocals), and Gerry (bass/vocals). From time to time GM may have a fourth member either on guitar, keyboard, vocals, or some combination of the three.
The main focus of the band is to write and perform original music that is fun to play and interesting to listen to.

GM also plays a wide variety of cover songs from artists like Tom Petty, Weezer, The Killers, Johnny Cash, Steve Miller, Neil Young, The Grateful Dead, The Zutons, The Band, Sublime, and many others.
