Soon after releasing my Frank Black interview I was feeling gutsy and I wanted to try and get some other interviews going. I had emailed Woody in early fall of 2016 about his album of solo rhodes piano tunes as I wished to express my admiration for his work on all fronts. He was kind enough to respond after my initial message so I searched through my email and picked the conversation back up and asked him if he'd be willing to do an interview. I figured I had a decent chance since I work for a radio station (102.7FM WEQX!) that actively plays Vulfpeck. He hit me back a few days later and said he not only would be willing to speak to me but he wanted to listen to and discuss some of his musical influences. Obviously I was very excited and after a few more emails this dream became a reality. What you are listening to was a collaborative edit by Woody and myself and features some of our favorite moments from the hour long discussion we had. We hope you enjoy it!
