Dead Intentions are a pop punk / punk rock band formed from remnants of previous Derby based punk and rock bands with the intention of bringing a sound we all want to hear, rather than trying to stick to one genre. Influenced by a broad range of bands from Alkaline Trio, Rancid and Bouncing Souls through to more diverse genres and with a strong work ethic, we are aiming to establish ourself within the re-emerging Derby music scene before spreading further nationally.

Born in 1939 on a stack of bibles, growing up around bass drums and hard times, The Goodbye Man decided at 17 that the only way was truth. With a head in the past and a foot in the present, influenced by anything with passion and soul he creates back-alley, low-down, save-the-children, give-a-damn, preaching-into-the-hopeless-future, heavy-soul, electric-sugar-music. Alone in a small grey room at knife point.
