House, Trance, Hard Dance and Oldskool / Club / Dance Classics DJ…

Gary Keelor is one of a very few versatile DJ's to come out of Carlisle (Cumbria). A popular DJ and a firm favourite in his home town and a big crowd pleaser. From the early age of 11 Gary grew up listening to the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Judge Jules, Pete Tong and Seb Fontaine on Radio 1 on a weekend. He vastly got the buzz for Dance Music and began collecting various tape packs from Pink Panther Records in Carlisle and later attending Ibiza Mania under 18s Dance Events in Carlisle between 1998-2000 which was a massive influence on him becoming a DJ. Gary got his first set of turntables at the age of 14, learning the trade the proper way as some would say and boy did he do it. He started getting bookings in 2001 at 15 years of age, playing Dance Anthems (Pumpin House & Trance) for Vibe under 18's dance events at Freedom nightclub & The Brickyard (Carlisle). Once he turned 18 in 2004 he began playing for Destiny @ Club XS (Carlisle) and other venue's in the City. That was when he started making a name for himself getting bookings for Dance Factory at Club XS & Terminal 1 (Carlisle), Fusion in Workington (Cumbria) and Sanctuary at Club One-Eleven, Klub DNA and Syndicate in Blackpool (Not forgetting he won the Sanctuary competition to play Syndicate main room) plus other Dance events in Cumbria and the North West up until 2008 when he decided to put on his own events. One being House Classics brand Formula which was a massive success in the city. Rapidly gaining a good reputation for himself with Formula, along with his DJ talent, constant hard work, determination and self promotion he bagged himself a residency at The Melting Pot in Carlisle along with bookings for Retro, Uber (Carlisle), Goodgreef, S2S / Sunrise, Cream Anthems Tour, Cream Classics, Kissdafunk + many other club brands.

Gary is no stranger to playing on the big stage having supported / been on the same stage as DJ's such as Ben Hemsley, Billy Gillies, Shugz, David Rust, Mauro Picotto, Signum, Matt Darey, Dave Pearce, Jordan Suckley, Claudia Cazacu, Anne Savage, Darren Porter, Scott Bond, Matt Hardwick, Seb Fontaine, Brandon Block, Alex P, Tall Paul, Rob Tissera, K-Klass, Allister Whitehead, Paul Taylor, MK, Todd Terry, Andy Pendle, Danny Bond, Alex K, Kutski to name a few. He has played at venues and events such as Retro In The Park (Burnley), Retro On The Pier (Blackpool), Retro The Big Amsterdam Boat Weekender, Rainton Meadows Arena (Durham), Halo/Synergy (Warrington), Syndicate, Domain/Sanuk, Klub DNA & North Pier (Blackpool), Maximes & Pure (Wigan), The Empire (Middlesbrough), Kanteena (Lancaster), Fusion (Workington) plus almost every club in Carlisle since 2001 including Freedom, The Venue / Box Arena, The Brickyard, The Melting Pot / Black Box Music Institute, Below, Club XS, Terminal 1 / Botanica + many more. Gary has 23 years experience at club level under his belt and is a well respected DJ in Carlisle / Cumbria. He boasts flawless mixing skills, unique/multi genre sets and brilliant tune selection. He has the knowledge and ability to whip up a storm on the dance floor at peak time as well as having the know how to open or close a night. You can expect big things from Gary in the near future, currently holding residencies for Memories, The Italian Job, Olds Cool, Formula and RudeDog Productions plus more recently just been added to the legendary Oldskool / Italian House brand, Zone. He also plays for various brands across the north of England, including Retro, Goodgreef, Loco, Sanctuary, Uber etc. You will no doubt be hearing and seeing him for many of years to come.

Stu will be leaving our shores for Australia at the end of March, so it is only fitting that we give him a send off party. This is a chance for the clubbers to come and dance to his instructions, and for everyone to pay their respects to someone who was hugely influential in pushing the scene forward in the mid 2000s.

Kentucky-born artist Chris Stapleton is an 8x Grammy, 15x CMA and 15x ACM Award-winner and one of the country’s most respected and beloved musicians. In the past year, he’s been named Entertainer of the Year at the 58th ACM Awards—resulting in the prestigious ACM Triple Crown Award—and Male Vocalist of the Year at the 2022 CMA Awards—his sixth time earning the award, setting the record for most wins ever in the category. The accolades follow Stapleton’s most recent album, 2020’s acclaimed Starting Over, which also won three awards at the 67th Annual GRAMMYs: Best Country Album, Best Country Solo Performance (“You Should Probably Leave”) and Best Country Song (“Cold”) in addition to earning Album of the Year honors at both the CMA and ACM Awards. The album follows Stapleton’s pair of Platinum-certified releases from 2017, From A Room: Volume 1 and From A Room: Volume 2, as well as his 5X Platinum breakthrough solo debut album, Traveller. Known for his electric live performances, Stapleton is currently in the midst of his extensive All-American Road Show Tour and also joins George Strait for select stadium shows this summer. In addition to his work as a musician, Stapleton and his wife, Morgane, are founders of the Outlaw State of Kind charitable fund, which supports a variety of causes that are close to their heart.
