Dyro is the latest in a long line of rising talent. I did this remix in the early part of the summer of 2009 for Dim Mak Records.  I was touring Europe at the time and while in Spain I hooked up with this guy who played the flamenco guitar.  I had to mess with his performance a lot and edit it to get this kind of feel but in the end I thought it turned out really cool.  It has a very processed,  almost jittery feel to it.  When you get lemons, make lemonade.

"Separated" won first prize in the Prestigious International Songwrting Contest, judged by a.o. Tom Waits and Suzanne Vega.

Our version is a little sunnier than the original, creating more a feeling of hope.
