The collaboration came about after both acts met up on the global festival circuit throughout 2012. Creative emails flew back and forth across Europe before the trio finally settled on the skeleton of ‘Mammoth’ as a potential new track. Speaking about the collaboration from his studio in Germany, MOGUAI said, “The track is not so far away from my own solo work. I said to myself, with the right mix this could be something huge, so we got into the studio together and at the end, we had the finished mix that you know now.”
 
A delicious slice of skewed electronica with ‘fist-pump’ written all over it, this titan of a track packs as much energy as it does technical class; crashing bass sections, warped synths and a huge breakdown combining the strengths of both production elements in one fell swoop. ‘Mammoth’ displays the extensive array of musical influences that these two world-renowned acts are constantly drawing their inspiration from, fusing everything together seamlessly for an anthem that will surely be an enormous smash in clubs and at festivals all over the world throughout 2013. Dannic, the highly prodigious DJ and producer from Breda in the Netherlands – the hometown of Tiësto and Hardwell - is one of the hottest acts to have emerged from the new generation of Dutch artists breaking through in recent years. His phenomenal rise to #26 in the 2015 DJ Mag Top 100 DJ Poll, a 4 place rise after a sensational jump of 34 places in the 2014 poll to #30, following his #74 debut back in 2013 confirms to tastemakers that he is set to remain a driving force within the scene. Daan Romers (in real life) won the Dancetour DJ contest in 2009 and a slot playing his productions to an audience of 10,000 people. As Dannic says “It's funny because a lot of people know me as a producer but I like to see myself as a DJ who started producing”. With the pinnacle of the tour being a main stage set at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, Dannic has undeniably joined the upper echelons of the dance music scene.
