Disciples Of Tone - These days there's a definite Buzzcocksy/Ramonesy thing going on. Mostly now its vocals, guitar, bass & drums - the electric saxophone has taken a sabbatical. Maybe its a question of distilling/refining/honing it all down. For those so attuned there's still psychedelia, 'krautrock', rockabilly within the punk rockery. They do like The Cramps and Dexy's and the B52s and Syd Barratt's Pink Floyd and they've certainly heard of Dick Dale & Link Wray. The soundtrack to Forbidden Planet lurks in the shadows threatening to engulf each song.

Often on the dance floor himself, he’s always listening—looking for inspiration and digging for tracks, old and new, that pull people in.

When not playing out, he hosts the Deep Selections mix show on SoundCloud, sharing his passion for timeless grooves with a growing community of listeners.

Currently producing for Secret Jams Records and Ej Underground, Jay-Knox is determined to get his sound established and broadcast to the London House scene and beyond.
