If there’s anyone who prompts the question “When does he find time to make that?” it’s serial editor and remixer Pete Le Freq. For more than 20 years he’s been reworking disco and funk classics as label boss of Alpaca Edits and Llama Farm Recordings, updating originals with a distinctive dance‑floor edge. His prolific remixes have been played by DJs worldwide — he’s a regular at Beatherder, made his Ring stage debut this summer alongside Utah Saints and Jaegerossa, and is a Mastermix remixer alongside Ben Liebrand, Sgt Slick and DJ S. He’s shared decks with Young Pulse, Michael Gray, Craig Charles, Dr Packer and Jo Whiley, and already has dates booked for 2026. 

Simply put:  he makes what he loves in the headphones come out the big speakers.

A man who has lived and breathed house music since he was a teenager, with over 20 years of dedication to the global electronic music scene, his contribution can’t be over exaggerated. Yousef has now completed his 5th artist album, the truly accomplished “I Operate in Purple”.
The project has invited a series of world class musicians and singers to help Yousef realise his ambition to release a 14-track legacy project that leans upon his two decades in at the forefront of house music and plans to stand up next to the great dance music albums of our time. IOP eloquently manoeuvrers through original vocals, radio ready crossover and the emotive underground. Yousef’s trusted voice led him to be requested to represent electronic music community for a private meeting with ‘HRH Prince William’ the future King of England, and later with many leading MP’s, to relay the difficulties dance music is facing through before and since covid. These efforts helped pave the way for Yousef’s Circus event to be asked to take on the colossal task to organise ‘The First Dance’, the world’s first sanctioned music test event since covid struck… The monumental event captured the attention of the entire world and its major media, with 7 billion online and news engagements, and is now cited as ‘one of the most significant moments in electronic music history”’. Theo Kottis is a London-based DJ and producer who has spent over a decade refining his craft - both behind the decks and in the studio. A fixture on the European festival circuit, Theo has played standout sets everywhere from the Dekmantel main stage to Panorama Bar, Lux Fragil and Robert Johnson, where his high-energy, euphoric sound seamlessly blends with hypnotic, minimalist grooves.

His productions have earned equal acclaim. 2024 saw the release of two stellar EPs on Dekmantel and Palms Trax’s CWPT imprint - with lead track Lighthouse hailed as “song of the summer” by Resident Advisor - drawing support from top-tier selectors including Ben UFO, Francesco Del Garda and Eris Drew.

Now in 2025, Theo continues to ascend, with acclaimed releases on Fabric Records, Fuse London and a second EP lined up for Dekmantel, further cementing his place among the scene’s most exciting artists. Grounded in UK club culture and shaped by years of experience, Theo’s music draws on the past while looking firmly forward.

In 1999, I embarked on my mixing journey using sound-lab belt drive decks, initially immersing myself in the world of trance. However, it was in October 2000 at Sundissential that I made my mark with hard house beats, a genre I would go on to champion across the UK. After three unforgettable summers in Ibiza from 2001 to 2003, my musical evolution led me to explore the realms of house music. My eclectic taste and love for the art of DJing extend across various styles, including Hard House, Trance, House, and Old Skool. I've graced the stages of renowned venues such as Sundissential, Retro, Kanya Ibiza, Tonic, and Cafe Liliput in India during the early years of my career. I made a triumphant return to the decks in 2022, leaving my mark at events like Reminiscence in Norwich and the Freedom Festival 2022/23, where I shared stages with iconic names like Baby D, Danny Rampling, and Slipmatt. Notably, in 2023, I was featured on the Hardboiled show on futureradio.co.uk. 2024 saw my debut at Sounds Beautiful and a return to Hope Freedom Festival. 2025 has started with NYD set @ Insomniacz... big year ahead?
