The Collector - Inside My World 051 (Oct'24)

Christian Westerhof was born on March 1, 1988 in Bottrop, North Rhine-Westphalia. At a young age, he discovered his passion for electronic music, which has stayed with him to this day. The first CD he bought was a special edition of the iconic song "Fire" by the band Scooter - a moment that had a significant impact on his musical journey. In his youth, Christian experimented with free DAWs like LMMS and collected initial ideas for his own music projects. However, due to his education as a baker and other personal commitments, he had to put his musical ambitions on hold to focus on his professional life. Apart from occasional electric guitar sessions, he had little time to pursue his love of music. In 2021, Christian decided to implement his years of ideas more professionally. Using the studio software FL Studio, he began to put his visions into practice. In the summer of 2022, he released his first Single , which marked the start of his musical career. Since then, he has devoted himself almost exclusively to music and has released numerous singles and EPs in various genres. Christian's goal is not to achieve fame, but to express himself through his music - in good times and in bad. He conveys these emotions in each of his songs, be it thoughtful, melancholic or happy. In a world that is often characterized by challenges, he believes in the power of honesty and the pursuit of happiness. He is known for not mincing his words and openly saying what he thinks. His only goal with his music is to process personal experiences and share them with others in the hope of giving joy for a moment. His motto is: "Stay true to yourself!"

Initially drawn to acoustic compositions showcased on the piano, she later discovered a profound passion for electronic music. This newfound love propelled her towards becoming a sound producer, enabling her to craft her own musical creations. Beginning in 2013, Maria embarked on her electronic music production journey, exploring genres such as Trance, Chillout, and Ambient. Her initial releases found success in Uplifting and Progressive Trance styles. Following a period of reflection, Maria returned to the scene with a fresh approach, prioritizing the emotive essence and atmospheric elements of her tracks. Blending powerful progressions with captivating melodies, Maria's productions aim to evoke profound emotional responses through a harmonious blend of sounds. Currently, she delves into Progressive House, Melodic House & Techno, and related sub-genres, where she continues to craft her distinctive sound.
