Trance Year Mix 2023 - Part 1 - Live @ Twitch (22-12-23)

Nord Horizon is a Hungarian based trance producer. In the 90s, his biggest influences were 'Salva Mea' and 'Insomnia' by Faithless, 'Fables' and 'Children' by Robert Miles, and 'Nowhere To Hide' by Antiloop, as well as the early Scooter albums, which were full of trance elements. His early years were also defined by his fascination with the sounds of Tiesto, Armin van Buuren, Sander van Doorn and Paul van Dyk.

His music transports listeners across time and space with throbbing beats and airy melodies, generating a variety of feelings from ecstasy to reflection.  He creates a thrilling and captivating auditory universe using complex layers of synths and pulsing beats. His music is a blend of traditional trance components and futuristic sounds, giving it a distinctive and alluring sound that sets him apart from other artists of his generation.

His hits include ’Trancecarpathia’, ’Everywhere You Go’, ’The Prophecy’, ’New Era’, and ’Alex’ displays the distinctive aesthetic and expert production of Nord Horizon. ’Orion’ and ’Legend’ are two further examples of how Nord Horizon can produce engrossing soundscapes that take listeners to different worlds.

Trance musician Nord Horizon lately producer some mesmerizing songs. ’Quantum World’ (2025), ’The Invincible’ (2024), ’Around The Bay’ (2024), ’Not A Sound’ feat. Sarah Russell (2024) are some his most recent hits.

The remix of the song ’I Feel You’, which was originally written by 4Strings and Susanne Teutenberg, is one of his significant collaborations. Nord Horizon gives the song a special touch by giving it his distinct style and giving it a new spin ont he original. ’Not A Sound’ is a collaboration with the ever talented Sarah Russell. Christian Westerhof was born on March 1, 1988 in Bottrop, North Rhine-Westphalia. At a young age, he discovered his passion for electronic music, which has stayed with him to this day. The first CD he bought was a special edition of the iconic song "Fire" by the band Scooter - a moment that had a significant impact on his musical journey. In his youth, Christian experimented with free DAWs like LMMS and collected initial ideas for his own music projects. However, due to his education as a baker and other personal commitments, he had to put his musical ambitions on hold to focus on his professional life. Apart from occasional electric guitar sessions, he had little time to pursue his love of music. In 2021, Christian decided to implement his years of ideas more professionally. Using the studio software FL Studio, he began to put his visions into practice. In the summer of 2022, he released his first Single , which marked the start of his musical career. Since then, he has devoted himself almost exclusively to music and has released numerous singles and EPs in various genres. Christian's goal is not to achieve fame, but to express himself through his music - in good times and in bad. He conveys these emotions in each of his songs, be it thoughtful, melancholic or happy. In a world that is often characterized by challenges, he believes in the power of honesty and the pursuit of happiness. He is known for not mincing his words and openly saying what he thinks. His only goal with his music is to process personal experiences and share them with others in the hope of giving joy for a moment. His motto is: "Stay true to yourself!"
