New rough cut! Thrilled to share this unreleased gem by the one and only @makossiri ! This Kampala based Kenyan producer (also part of the Santuri Electronic Music Academy!) is one we have been following for a while. She’s shared this track with us and we were surprised to recognize the voice of one of our  favorite African American Jazz artists and poets. A few words from Makossiri about this work in progress:
 “I don’t usually include spoken word in my songs, but I wanted to experiment with this because I fell in love with this interview / performance by Sun Ra. The words really resonated with me, and I think about him a lot since my art is really influenced by afrofuturism.”

C_Ben es el proyecto, seudónimo, de Carlo Cuadro, fundador del sello independiente UnosQuantos originario de la Ciudad de México.
