In Italo House Aficionados Part 8 we are going back to the warm & sexy Italian House & Garage sound of the early 90s.
As usual I made a selection of known and unknown tracks, including some rarities like Check The Mind, Deseo and Cassandra Project. A special mention goes out to Daniele 'Shield' Contrini. He managed to track down and license the unreleased Leopardo Boom Boom Remix of E.V.O.E.'s "I Don't Wanna Give Up Your Love" for the "Ciao Italia" (vinyl) compilations on Rebirth Records. This track was on top of my wantlist for many years, and one of the last missing pieces of my Italian House Collection. So this one's very special to me.
For the first time a two hour session, featuring Mr. Marvin, Fuser Beat, Nikita Warren, Alex Lee, Free Force, Sueño Latino, Maurizio Pavesi and more.

This second instalment takes you on a new and emotional journey with a young New Yorker named Cass who wants to shake off the past and start a new life. Although the majority of tracks are four to the floor, the album diversifies into Broken Beat, UK Garage, Drum and Bass and RnB. Classical elements are integrated in many tracks to create a truly cinematic atmosphere. Thematically, each track is designed to represent a chapter in his story that night. As well as the individual tracks to download and DJ you can experience the complete 'Directors Cut' vision narrated by Zen Dharma as a continuous blend across just over 40 minutes.

With remixes and releases on label heavyweights such as Locked On, Plastik People, Closer To Truth, Defected, Strictly Rhythm, Soulfuric Trax, Masters at Work, Ministry Of Sound and many more, Danny J lewis  has taken on the traditional New York House sound and given it a LDN influenced underground vibe all of his own.

His ability to span the genres is also apparent in his past work as part of Spiritual South, writing and producing the hit single ‘Green Gold’ amongst others.
