Lover of making people dance!, to house, techno, funk, disco, and, other uptempo euphorias, in their many tasteful varieties. 

Have held DJ residencies in San Francisco (created and ran twistedDiscoBANGBANG @ Anu in 2006, was also part and resident of SatelliteSF 2004-2010) and San Diego (Payola @ 5th Quarter in 2000, formerly DVC principal [1999-2004] co-concepting and running various DVC events @ UCSD including both MOVEMENT events w/27,000 attendance). Past music director and in-house DJ @ Edinburgh Castle Club, SF.

In 2021, twistedDiscoBANGBANG ran weekly Wednesday and Saturday @ Edinburgh Castle, 9 - 1:30 AM. I DJ'd both start to end. Prior to covid, in 2019 it was Saturday night, every week, and every Thursday at dadabar in SF, too.

With remixes and releases on label heavyweights such as Locked On, Plastik People, Closer To Truth, Defected, Strictly Rhythm, Soulfuric Trax, Masters at Work, Ministry Of Sound and many more, Danny J lewis  has taken on the traditional New York House sound and given it a LDN influenced underground vibe all of his own.

His ability to span the genres is also apparent in his past work as part of Spiritual South, writing and producing the hit single ‘Green Gold’ amongst others.

I’m a deep house head and an old school fanatic .....early 90’s house still rocks my world.....my favourite house DJ’s .....Godfather of house ....frankie knuckles, little Louis, Larry heard, mood 2 swing. Tony humphries, Lenny kravit ..David morales..etc ....I’m also a music collector......
