Rui Da Silva, world renowned DJ, Producer, self owned record label boss, creative and all round musical innovator returns to the forefront of dance music yet again with a wealth of new slick club material for a brand new era of progressive dance music.

Fresh from his recent release, ‘New Lover’, which hit the spot for Pete Tong's ‘Essential Tune', Rui now unleashes his second track from his new body of work in the shape of  ‘Love Is The Leader Ft. Penny F’, bringing his finely honed skills to a new collaboration with fellow Kismet cohort and one of the UK’s freshest rising talents, the lovely, Penny F. 

An effervescent dance floor number, Love Is the Leader offers up Rui’s signature tribalistic and multi faceted sound, presenting a show and tell of quality dance floor production and sonic clarity, all blended with his expanse of rhythmic dialect, whilst seamlessly harmonising Penny F’s beautifully haunting melodic vocals.

Rui is no stranger to the music game, he’s been involved in the music since he was a kid, learning and honing the creative talents that led him to create the legendary Underground Sound of Lisbon, who exploded onto the scene with the seminal release, ‘So Get Up’ championed by Junior Vasquez and Danny Tenaglia it fast became the choice New York dancefloor track on constant rotation, forging the way for the collective as the most influential electronic dance band out of Portugal till this day. Rui relocated to London to create and run his own successful label, Kismet (13 years strong), where he released under his own name the worldwide smash release ‘Touch Me’, a stunning sultry all time classic track still played on dancefloors worldwide today.

With more releases from the new album set for the coming months, Rui Da Silva continues to evolve, transform and create his ever-changing musical canvas, while surfing the edge of new sounds.

Starting the illustrious after, after party Push:On in 2007 with the Push:On Crew, Danny Matthews had humble beginnings until Push:On were invited to host the after party once a month at the world famous Back to Basics, Leeds. Here he cut his teeth being educated by the best residents and guests in the world.

Over the years Danny has warmed up for selectors such as Derrick Carter, Inland Knights, DJ EASE of Nightmares on Wax, Buckley, Frenchy, Mark Farina, Miguel Campbell and many more. He has held it down at Ketoloco, Distrikt, Basing House, The Horse & Groom, Just Jack Bristol, Upgrade, Pikes Ibiza, Sheeps and performing at Festivals such as Glastonbury, Glade, Fieldtrip, Burning Man and Secret Garden Party on the “Drop Stage”. He also hosts a monthly online radio show called Push:On Radio where he pushes local talent. Expect House Music, Funk, Reggae Music, Dub and all things groovy…
