A metal head at heart, @djnickyb-uk finds her calm in heavy drums, snares & low frequencies. Professional dancer turned DJ - music and performance has been a significant part of Nicky B’s life for many years. Inspired by artists such as Euphonique, Mrs Magoo and Hybrid, she took up the art of DJing in 2018 alongside DJ-MD, performing as part of a duo ‘Reason2B’, and eventually forging her own solo career as Nicky B.

Nicky B has since appeared on well known radio stations such as Life FM, UK Raw, Code Red and performed at the Boiler Room festival, Paradise Gardens and WillFest Crystal Palace amongst many other events and festivals throughout the UK. Her high energy and raw jungle sound has led to her working with some of the most respected brands in the scene, including EQ50, who Nicky debuted for in their mix series in September 2022.

The future brings some of Nicky’s biggest event bookings to date, and honing her production skills, working on her first solo EP - infusing her love for raw jungle, heavy breaks and low frequencies.

Having swiftly descended from themes of the future and outer space he this time delves deep into Inner Space, with twisty psychedelic Drum Funk and Atmospheric breaks. The opening track 'The Ineffable' starts the LP with thunderous half-time beats before kicking off into an otherworldly journey. Spiritual, Psychedelic and Dream States continue as the theme, as choppy atmospheric drumfunk spar with more Tech-led beats as the LP takes the listener to the very depths of ultra-conscious states eventually ending on the catchy melodics and sublime pads of 'Dharmakaya'.

Based out of Leon, Mexico, Viewer brings the heat once again to Smooth N Groove with another epic release. Data B makes his full Codename: RCRDS debut with 'Deep Reflections EP', which provides a stunning showcase of this rising producers talents.

The EP opens with 'Elsewhere', a euphoric collaboration with label co-owner Moakz with spine-tingling pads and soaring leads entwined with rolling breaks and bass for a superb opener. The EP continues with the deep liquid roller 'Wakeup', full of crisp drums and chopped vocals, before moving into the glacial-tinged beauty of 'Change Your Mind'. This echoes the work of masters such as LSB with its introspective vocals, stunning strings and plucked guitars. The release then switches into another direction to close the EP for the crusty breaks and eerie vocals of the rolling 'Broken Window'.
