Redlight Ft. Ms Dynamite - What You Talking About!? (Remix)

Taken from the split single with Girls Names, to be co-released by Slumberland and Tough Love on June 25.

Weird Dreams contribution to the split is their first new material since April's debut album, "Choreography," which was lauded by Pitchfork as a "consistently rewarding, highly revelatory listen." Known for their sophisticated song craft that charts a middle ground between the twisted buzz of The Soft Boys and the pastoral vibes of Real Estate, Weird Dreams have quickly marked themselves as one of the most exciting bands on the London circuit.  Their longest track to date - an almost perverse endeavor given the format it features on - 'House of Secrets' is a slow-burning, sinister lullaby, buoyed by an insistent and spidery guitar line and replete with the rich, languorous vocals characteristic of the band.

This new track from Akabu features the soaring neo soul croons of Alex Mills (who you might recognize from Miguel Campbell's ‘Something Special’).

The Joey Negro Strip Mix is unashamedly feel-good with its bouncing, skewed and spraying synths and driving bassline, with pristine production putting many imitators to shame.

The Akabu Warehouse Mix is built on chunky drums and classic claps before rave indebted synths swoop into the mix. Building the tension slowly, the whole thing comes alive with a bobbling bassline and the carefully chopped and spliced diva vocals of Miss Mills.

Yet another timeless and easy to love offering from the studio of Dave Lee.

This is something that most of you will never have heard. We had already worked with Toddla on his 'Streets So Warm' single, then last year he had his national tour with Major Lazer and hit us up to help out with some of the music for his stage show. The result was this fantastic track that featured the gorgeous Ms. Dynamite on vocals.
We are pretty sure that this will never get a release as it was exclusively made for that tour and at this time there are no plans to release it. But never say never...!
