Danny J Rendall, (born 19 July 1988) is a British film composer and music producer.

In December 2008, Danny received the Michael Kamen Award for outstanding achievement in the field of composing music. The award was presented by Nitin Sawhney, Justin Baron (Sibelius) and Mrs Kamen at the Mermaid Theatre in London.

He recalls that the first time he became aware of film music was in his youth during a screening of Terminator 2: Judgement Day (James Cameron, 1991). The music was by Brad Fiedel, and that, he has said, was where his love of film music began.

Other film composers have also proven to be influential, such as Steve Jablonsky and Hans Zimmer and Two Steps From Hell.

Danny composed the music for his first film in March 2009. Titled Driven to Survive, this short action thriller was a third year BSC dissertation graduation film produced by Tom Blount. It took 8 months from start to finish and was made on the smallest budget possible. It centers around a high speed car chase which was shot at Long Valley, the same location used for the opening sequence of the James Bond film Die Another Day.

My name is David O'Hearn and I am a composer, musician, actor and music producer. (In case you haven't guessed, I am the D in playD).

 I play guitar, keyboards, bass and do vocal work (both musical and voice-overs). With over 40years of experience in a variety of styles, I can also lend my experience to music production and arranging, as well as an instrumentalist.

I have been performing in local musical and dramatic theatre since 2005, having appeared in over 60 productions to date.

I also run a project studio in Mississauga, Ontario (west of Toronto).

The studio is used to provide music and/or music production for a variety of projects, including music for film, tv and radio.  My project studio is ideal for singer/songwriter projects as well.  I have produced demos for a few local artists and look forward to future collaborations.

As a composer, I have written over 70 pieces of music in a single calendar year (2009) alone.

Most recently, I wrote, performed and recorded the score for a short film called Severance (due out in July 2010).

I am also currently in production with another short film, which is an adaptation of a Stephen King short story, "Suffer The Little Children", with Moonlit Road Entertainment (where I am resident composer).

Film composer Patrick A. Thompson lives in Dallas, Texas.  He composed his first work on piano at around eight years old.  He performed an excerpt from Beethoven's 9th Symphony on the Queen Mother's Grand piano in Glamis Castle in Scotland at an equally young age.  Music has been a driving force in his life ever since his father would sing to him before bedtime.

For several years, Patrick performed and helped produce musical theater productions for several theme parks around the United States.  As his passion for live theater grew, so did his talent for storytelling.  This is what sets him apart from most composers.  In any scoring venture, Patrick seeks to actively and emotionally engage the audience under the Director's guidance.  Film music is never supposed to be a passive force, but rather a subliminal voice which continually deepens and supports the Director's emotional vision.

Writing music ranging from commercials to feature film is my passion and so far I’m blessed to be able to call this my job.

I was born and raised in a musical family so it was hard not to step in the same direction. After years of studying classical piano and playing the classics I gained interest in writing music myself. Inspired by composers such as Howard Shore, John Williams and Hans Zimmer I started to write music myself. Starting from the age of fourteen I was spending all my spare time into this newly discovered passion. Hence there was no other possibility after high school than studying “Composition for the Media” at the Utrecht School of the Arts!

In 2008 I got admitted and in 2012 I graduated with a Bachelor of Music and a Master of Arts degree. During my studies I worked as an intern in New York for Elias Arts, one of the major advertising music houses out there. It was here where I learned the craft of composing music for advertisements. Even though this is an area I love working in, my biggest passion is and has always been music for film. A great deal of projects I’ve worked on are in this area of the working field. This dedication for film music was not kept undiscovered, early 2012 I’ve been asked to work as a composer for a hi-end trailer-music company who gave me the opportunity to write trailer-music for Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters! Since then my music is supporting trailers for oscar winning films like “The Imitation Game” and “Ida” and is, among others, being featured in Terrence Mallick’s recent trailer for the film “Knight Of Cups”
