What i enjoyed most was the fluidity and the subtle hhighting of the music, with respect given to the enjoyment if the actual tracks you played.  No real need to mention the skills required to achieve this on vinyl only mixing.  But i did. X

This warm-up method, especially psychilogical, of the old school is (to me) what is needed to restore the club's original flavor and the right touch to make the best welcome to the crowd

I don't like going into a dance hall and hearing high volumes and accelerated bpm , as people are about to arrive

Making music is like making love, you always have to start with foreplay, with some exceptions ( but a few times )

Like always, the mixing is on the rougher side of life, in true Burger style. Vinyl skips, misses and bops, overly passionate transitions. Coming from a community of music lovers, dancers, DJ's  and party-goers, this week's mix lands by way of Detroit In Effect (D.I.E). A true reflection of the city's style and flair, featuring quick cuts, ferocious mixing style and laced with signature scratches and playful twists. Packed with personality, this 'live' recording style stays true to his DJ sets and instantly takes us back to memories of D.I.E's last appearance with us at the festival in 2018, deep inside the Moat. We can't wait to see what's in store for us in Tisno this summer.

Over the last 20 years i have held residencies at the world famous Sub Club in Glasgow, Mas, with Glasgow Disco King Billy Woods & various secret after-hours venues all over the city of Glasgow, particularly a certain one on Bridge Street, after a Pressure party, in olden times.

In Europe i have held a residency on the Electro Juice Boat in Bordeaux for 15 years and at the Wunderboat soiree's on Bordeaux's premier venue, The IBoat. 

My biggest influences are local legends Subculture, of Sub Club, Glasgow, where i've covered warm ups and closing slots for residents Harri and Domenic, my other main and equal influence is Slam, particularly during the Daft Punk years, me having ran their promo in the mid 90's and being part of their team that started and promoted the Pressure party in the late 90's.

Although i have also ran a lot of my own nights alongside managing the promotions team at the Sub Club for 10 years, it's the love and joy in performance that keeps bringing me back to being behind the turntables and playing records as a form of artistic expression.

Having lived in Den Haag Netherlands for some time, i am now back in Glasgow and available for bookings.
